If anybody enters and happens to win first place but cannot attend BlizzCon, you can offer up your ticket prize to the second place ranking contestant and take the Diablofans t-shirt instead. So yeah, don't let being unable to attend BlizzCon stop you from entering.

However, as Jetrall already stated, definitely mention that you can't attend BlizzCon in your entry if you're unable to fly out to the event just so we know in advance.

That's correct Jetrall. Even if Yngvar won first place in the contest, he could offer to give the prize to the second place winner and take the t-shirt instead. Same goes for anybody entering the contest!

Also, in each of the three official contest threads, you will see that Atrumentis was kind enough to post examples of what entries should be like. You can find his posts on the first page of each thread. Big thanks to Atrumentis for taking the time to do this just to help give everybody some more clarity in regards to each of the three contests.

We are proud to announce that we have THREE (3) CONTESTS to giveaway BlizzCon 2009 tickets! Blizzard was kind enough to provide us with these tickets, so we've created these different contests to ensure that everybody here on Diablofans.com has a chance at winning a ticket to BlizzCon this year! Class Art Contest:
Have you ever wanted to design your own original character class? Well here's your chance! All you need to submit is the name of your own favorite imaginary class along with a newly created artistic design of the class created by yourself.

Have you ever wanted to write your own background story for a new character class? Well here's your chance! Have you ever wanted to design the skill trees and play style of your very own character? Well here's your chance! As you probably know by now, we have three (3) separate contests running here on Diablofans.com - each of which gives you an opportunity to win a ticket to BlizzCon 2009! Let's hope so. There are a LOT of tickets for sale on eBay already. And if people don't sell 'em on eBay, I'm sure they'll try to sell 'em on other services such as Craigslist.

Did they say they were going to put an end to that? Because I just checked the FAQ and based on this little snippet, I'd say they're making it pretty easy for anybody to sell them:

"What if I don't know the names of the guests I am bringing to BlizzCon?

If you do not know the names of the guests you are bringing to BlizzCon and will not know by June 13, put all of the badges under your own name. Bring *all* of the printed bar-code emails, along with your photo ID, to BlizzCon, and you will be able to pick those up all of the badges yourself and distribute them to your guests. Photo ID will only be checked at the time of badge pick-up."

And of course, tickets are already up for sale on eBay. Just shows ya that they need to reduce the number of tickets people should be allowed to buy.

These are just for the people who want to attend BlizzCon in person. I'm pretty sure there's no waiting to purchase the live stream on the Internet.
