posted a message on "Spender" skills don't seem worthwhile compared to generators.
I find that the spenders for Barbarian are worthwhile. Hammer of the Ancients is definitely worth using over just Cleave (or Bash) spamming.

I've found that Monk plays totally different, though. Since Monk seems to generate Spirit at a slower rate than any other class generated their resource, and Monk generators deal more damage overall than others, I think Monks are supposed to do most of their damage via generators, and just use Spirit as tactical ability fuel, like their heal or mantras. If you're capping out on Spirit, then you can dump some into a spender like Lashing Tail Kick or Wave of Light.

Point is: Monks are more reliant on generators for damage, maybe at 70-30 split of damage, where other classes might be more shifted towards more damage via spenders with maybe a 50-50 split.

posted a message on WD is TALLER than the Barbarian
The Witch Doctor is taller than the Barbarian for a few reasons:
    1) If the WD was shorter, he would look really small while crouched over all the time, so they made him taller to compensate.
    2) Have you watched NBA basketball at all?

posted a message on Why is blizzard making D3 like WoW?
    Quote from Swirlyball

I think it will be great if they never implement pvp. Having no pvp means they wont "Balance" the skills for pvp and will focus on purely the item hunt and killing huge packs of demons!.
I dread the time when it will be "Oh nerf barbarian stun times, i cant move" and so they do and the pve side suffers again.
You can rest easy knowing that Jay WIlson said they weren't gonna be too worried about balancing skills for PvP, since DIII is not meant to be an eSport in the slightest. He said the PvP guy will always take the backseat to the PvM guy, since DIII is first and foremost a PvM game, no matter how hard you believe it's a PvP game.

I for one hope they stick to that attitude. I saw too many skills in WoW get ruined because they were OP in PvP, instead of just making them do two different things for PvP and PvE.

posted a message on A** kicked In Inferno
    Quote from Gazziwa
Diablo II was designed with them in mind, and the knowledge that most players would hardly get to experiment with their highest level (30) skills before finishing the game for the first time.
The max level for skills was 20. Only through +Skill item affixes could you extend it beyond that.

    Quote from Gazziwa
You will be able to access the three difficulties Nightmare, Hell and Inferno after you played through the normal Difficulty.
You have to beat each subsequent difficulty to unlock the next. You have to beat Hell for Inferno.

    Quote from Gazziwa
...to the point that playing solo in a group game will be a very bad idea.
    Quote from Gazziwa
It will be possible to run it solo, though...
Kinda contradictory here, these two lines.

    Quote from Gazziwa
Featuring monsters with a minimum level of 61
The range is 61-65 currently, if you were wondering.

    Quote from Gazziwa
...this mode is aimed at players who have maxed out their character at the level 60 cap.
And have gotten the best gear out of Hell.

    Quote from Gazziwa
Blizzard promises you that how good you are at games, you will still die in Inferno.
    Typo here.

    Quote from Gazziwa
When you get to Inferno the monsters will have different abilities, such as "Freeze time, wall- blocking, shackle."
Like the guy above me said, Waller (which is the proper name) is available in all difficulties. Are you calling 'Jailer' shackle? That's available in all difficulties too.

    Quote from Gazziwa
For just a month Blizzard announced that they had a difficult that was static. Which means that it was "This hard" from the beginning to the end. But they figured that it wasn't so fun. Because the first boss was as hard as the last one. So they changed the difficulties so that they will scale through out the acts.
Normal, Nightmare, and Hell all were kept the same. The only recent change to the difficulties has been in Inferno, and the only thing they did was make it get harder as you progress.

Also there are many grammar, and a few spelling, mistakes that you should really think about fixing if you want this to be a legible, useful guide to the difficulties in Diablo III.

And change the thread name. It's not very professional at all.

posted a message on [SPOILERS] New Diablo III Minisite Ripped Images
So I was browsing the CSS from the all-new fansite and found these images:

These are what the locked bubbles could be. Any idea what that first unlocked bubble could be? The skull?

The preview thumbnail for the 100% unlock video! That's DiabloWiki.com - Imperius Imperius, by the way.
EDIT: Credit to Yemmiz (and Aerisot for finding the other 9) for the description of the 100% unlock video:
Diablo: Wrath: Long before the creation of Sanctuary, the Eternal Conflict between angels and demons raged on for untold millennia. Blizzard Entertainment teamed up with renowned director Peter Chung and acclaimed animation studio Titmouse to create this unique vision of a fundamental moment in the battle between the High Heavens and the Burning Hells.

    The class sigils.

I'll update with any more I find. I didn't find anything else. I might take another look later.
    Speculate away!
