    This.

I'd welcome some legit console progression but nothing about this is legit, bugs and absolutely cheating is how they got 126 on console. There is a reason no one has gotten this high on PC...

They seem to be better than the previous Devs just because the Wilson's team was something worse than the word "worse" itself, BUT both teams have something in common : THEY DO NOT PLAY THE GAME, so they do not know how to progress correctly, that is why they droping the PTR, that is why we find every god damn time broken things.

Where do you get this crap? The devs (at least the senior ones) most definitely play the game. Look at the videos on the main Diablo site, they often talk about what they have been playing. There's one in there where they give Wyatt some good natured ribbing because he lost an HC character playing on a crappy hotel internet connection.
This is the problem with people like you. Because Blizzard isn't doing exactly what YOU think they should be doing (cause clearly you have all the credentials of "worlds greatest game developer" right) then they are failing. Nothing could be further from the truth. Diablo would die off in a heartbeat if they were listening to all the people like you.

Keep in mind that what you reached in a few days/weeks is what the average player reaches in months. The endgame is good. It's just not made for nolifing.

    This.
What is it with so many people these days that think that their $50 game purchase entitles them to a lifetime of perfect (for them specifically) gameplay?

Well, maybe the developer themselves? I mean come on, stop ignoring facts, they said they want the best game in the genre, and they want the Diablo legacy to live forever.

    So yeah......
I agree with you, but that doesn't mean that Blizzard said "And we will cowtow to every little whiny bitch on the internet who thinks the game should be custom tailored for him".

I find it interesting that XBone got the patch but PS4 did not. I just checked my PS4 copy and it's at 2.3 and checking if there is an update gets the message that the application already at current version.

    Quote from soulzek»

There's plenty of F2P games that I have more hours in than D3 (and Diablo was my favorite PC series of all time).

"We are still playing this game" is flat out false. I know literally 0 people that play this game in real life, or that I know from other games. It's pretty barren.

So because you have no friends playing D3 it's "barren". Where do you come up with this shit?

    cap paragon. botting solved.

No it wouldn't. Most botting is about farming Grift keystones and/or crafting mats rather than gaining XP.

How wouldn't it? The only reason mats are getting botted is because exp farming for paragon is so important, kill the reason to farm the mass of paragon lvls and there will be no reason to really bot the other stuff.
So are you saying GRift fishing for progression will also be solved by a paragon cap then? OK....

posted a message on BlizzCon 2015 - Diablo is dead
    Quote from mistertakedown»

Let me summarize for you in terms of just how hard it is to achieve the things they presented programmatically:

    • New bounties - easily scriptable content with little to no effort since they already have a bounty system in place since RoS launch.
    • Rebirth to seasonal - completely useless feature, thought also quite easily achievable programmatically, all they have to do is store your current statistics and items in their database and just add them with the ones you get after season.
    • Buff bar UI - Already implemented in TurboHUD, so to begin with it is just a ripoff, I am not even sure if it is a good rip off. TurboHUD works like weak aura's in wow, probably allowing for customization depending on your needs. By the way, did anyone catch how the guy kept talking about "precious 8 buff bar slots"? I guess it was just too hard to solve that problem.
    • More space - that is basically just increasing the size of the array... LOL
    • Empowered Greater Rifts - must have been hard to add that tick box....
    • Is this power cubed? - Already implemented in TurboHUD, I would argue which implementation is better, the one blizzard is doing requires you to actually mouseover the item, in TurboHUD you can just see it in your inventory.
    • Death's Breaths Visibility - Already implemented in TurboHUD also with a yellow circle.
    • Damage numbers - must have been if it took 2 years to be able to concatenate numbers.

All in all, the entire panel was talking about the things that they are ripping off from TurboHUD that should have been implemented in the main game already anyway. Did anyone notice that they didn't even get chairs for this panel !??? One guy in the panel didn't even speak before questions. It seems that Diablo 3 is left with some washed up developers that probably fulfill a role of errand boys around Blizzard offices getting coffee to the other teams from the games that actually matter to Blizzard.

So in your mind, if a feature is easy to implement it's useless? That's some seriously bizarre logic you have there.
Ripping off TurboHUD? So them implementing a feature that's similar to, well tons of games, not just some TOS breaking overlay is Blizzard being bad?

I'll admit that prior to the panel I was not happy with how things looked to be going. But after the panel I feel like the Diablo team is not only listening to the community they are honestly trying to improve the game, add more content and solve problems and all without any further charge to the players.
Personally I'm really stoked for 2.4.

posted a message on Completed Season 4 Journey Thoughts (Video)

While I love the Journey concept I found it very annoying to complete. Since I play solo 99% of the time getting a group that could accomplish the TX < 3 min step very annoying. Also, while I did get to GR60 solo and get my 3 leg gems to 60 I found those steps almost as frustrating. Fishing for a good rift is not enjoyable to me at all. I was so happy when I got that crap done so I didn't have to fish anymore.

I can see why you think the 70 HC shouldn't be on the list. I personally enjoyed that part but it is an odd addition and potentially time consuming to complete.

It's not an MMO. The sooner you realize that (you won't) the more things will make sense. It's a single player campaign game with a multiplayer option.

so why isnt there a offline mode like in d2? why cant i mod my single player game like in d2?
The entire reason D3 was an online only game from the beginning is because of the RMAH.

    Let's be honest here.
The vast majority who try to discredit this open letter are botters themselves, or are trying to cover someone else's ass.
There seems to be a fairly large army of botters who are about to shit their pants, and are now trying, rather obviously, to do whatever they can to re-direct everyone's attention.
    Just let it go :)
    You've lost.

And here is this ridiculous crap again. "Oh you are against the death penalty? You must be a murderer!"

This isn't an argument, it's childish nonsense. Lots of legit players are dissenting from this "community" letter (myself included) for some very good reasons.

    1) Reported, and be glad you can hide behind a layer of anonymity on the internet, as your first sentence is quite the threat.
    2) If you know of a better representative, please, by all means, come forth.
I get it, you're likely a botter. Keep it to yourself.

Personally I think he had a point. The arrogance of the 1%/streamer crowd for D3 is just astounding. And instead of responding like an adult you criticize him and call him a botter... Nice debating skills.

Uhm did you even read what the guy started his comment with? Comments like that deserve a ban and a few days jail time... not a debate
I'm officially apologizing to Mikhail right now. The offender edited his post to remove the VERY BAD first sentence so it was not there when I read it and I didn't read the version Mikahil quoted (which still had it).

You were right to respond the way you did Mikhail.
