Umm, not a complete waste of time. Just keep in mind that to have slingers - you'll have to pair for their upkeep (8 gold per hour for each slinger). For military stregth though - I suggest you get walls and just a few slingers. Hopefully you won't be attacked enough. And if you have at least 5 slingers - go and try and pillage your enemy. And to make slingers, you take away from the population, so i think 1 slinger needs 1 citizen. I'm not really quite sure ^^'

edit: Hey Fbim, can you resend the invitation to the alliance? I have an embassy now so i can join, I just need an invitation I believe.
