You did fine! No worries. Just keep practicing. The reason why the first drawing was more successful is because it's mostly line contour defining the forum were as the dark wanderer piece doesn't really have line in it. It does, but it's a painting so it's not going to translate as well unless you have a more intimate understanding of volume. Keep it up! Draw the Witch Doctor! :D

    Here's my honest opinion:

I don't see this place as overly optimistic at all. What you might mistake for optimism is usually, just reiteration of the news, using similar phrases and diction that correlates with the official news, released by Blizzard.

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Diablofans articles are not biased. Our writers are just humans after all. And most of said humans, are fans. So, of course there is going to be some excitement and optimism. We here at Diablofans are really excited for this game and hope you are too. So when you come here, we want the atmosphere to be welcoming and exciting. After all, these truly are exciting times for fans of this awesomesauce franchise.

If you want the most up to date news on Diablo 3 to the very minute, this is the place you should be. Criticize how we do things versus how someone else does them all you want. The fact still remains that if you want to know whats up with the very latest of Diablo 3, come here, because we deliver.

Wait...so all the shitty cops have all the hours and are on the streets the most? So....if I see a cop, chances are, he's a shitty cop right? If the assholes have all the hours, I'm more likely to come in contact with one of them. So, people have sound foundation for not trusting the police because most of the active ones are assholes? I think you just argued against your own point.

Oh, and a knife or gun will stop someone from even grazing a hair on my head.

posted a message on Competitive gamers
A lot of the people complaining about not having competitive pvp are "competitive gamers".

To me, a competitive gamer is a person who cannot play a game unless it involves competing with others. I know a guy like this. This person literally doesn't enjoy ANY game, unless it is "winning" at something with a defined score and opponent to defeat. The term win does not include beating a game. I'm talking about the guy who only plays games with a singular goal of winning.

Opinion: These people completely miss the point of video games in the first place. They garner some misplaced e-peen pride from winning in-game, while completely failing or avoiding their lives. They crave this sense of self worth via a video game. If there is no such goal, the game is useless to them.

Because of this, they do not actually enjoy the game. They take no time to appreciate the game itself. They take pleasure in one thing and one thing only. Winning.

These people are not gamers by my personal standards. They're just people with unfulfilled dreams that they make up for, via winning in video games.

From personal experience: They are rude, with no sense of sportsmanship(aka don't say gg when they lose and boast and gloat and antagonize when they win), and very trolly.

However, I'm not saying that everyone who wants PVP is among this crowd. But they are certainly a part of the driving force behind it.

Edit: Also, there is NOTHING wrong with competing via video games. I'm not saying that. I certainly have my own fair share of e-peen when it comes to some games like Halo and Wc3(sc2? ehh not so much). And we all know that competing is incredibly fun. It's the driving force behind online gaming which is so crucial to our ever evolving community of gamers. However, if competing is your only enjoyment..well..you read the thread.
