Yeah , D3 must use bloom or HDR lighting to some effect.That's probally what's putting many people off, D2 never had that 'soft' look that D3 has now. Remove the bloom and D3 will look like D2, but I'm happy the way D3 looks right now.

I'm quite happy with the art design at the moment. Though, it's very hard too critique the art when we've only seen 2 environments so far. We need to see several more environments, exteriors and interiors, to justify a complete redesign of the art style. I'm still open-minded, but have to say graphics looking great so far.

Another point:I think Blizzards' got the gore factor just right . Diablo 3 has to be gory regardless of what the graphics look like.

Yeah, we've seen basically 2 environments of D3 so far and people are already complaining lol. D2 graphics looked like crap when it came out, simple as that; no detail whatsoever. D3 graphics, imo, look like night and day in comparision to D1 and D2. I'm pleased with D3's new art direction and the gore factor seems increased too, which is always a plus!

I think Diablo 3[if it's called that] will be a hybrid game like Hellgate London. It will have a standard story-driven single player campaign like it's predecessrs, and also a MMO component akin to WOW. I don't think Blizzard would make Diablo 3 an MMO only though, that just wouldn't be right

I wonder what Diablo 3 will be a prequel or sequel?

SC2 was announced at WWI 2007. I wonder if the Blizzard dev's are laughing at all these hair-brain rumors floating around here?

Nobodies gonna announce Diablo 3 but Blizzard themselves, certaintly not a second-rate european mag. I dont think the date of the WWI- 28 and 29 June- is coincidental either.

Blizzard don't need hype for their games, the blue shiny Blizzard logo on the box says it all.

HaHa. This is getting very sad people. You didn't really expect a half-ass mag, like Pc Action, to announce the biggest game of the year did you? I'm 99% sure Diablo 3 will be announced 2 weeks from today at WWI. Read it - 2 weeks.

I've read and re-read these forums and I still don't get what's going to happen on 1 May.

I don't get why there is a banner(with heartbeats) on Blizzplanet and not on Diablo3.com.If this annoucement is supposed to be Diablo related why not have the banner displayed rather here? Maybe I'm missing something,does anyone know?:)
