One of my friends says this screenshot reminds him of God of War.
The resemblance is so obvious, you don't need to edit the picture.
All hail, Kratos vs. Spartan Ghosts

I don't know what you meant by "usually", but as far as I know those guys don't like to do that. Have you forgotten about Seoul? I was anxiously waiting for Starcraft2, and all I got was a rumor in a Korean website, translated by Google. I would like a major announcement as much as the next guy, but I don't think its gonna happen. -

unless you work for the lesser evils and you are off to find the prime evils so the lesser evils can then be prime
hmm the 2nd one sounds more fun
I think jumping to conclusions in this early stage is pointless. We don't know if the third Diablo game is going to be a MMORPG. Even if it is a MMORPG, we are not sure if it will be called World of Diablo. Blizz has acquired Diablo3.com, not WorldofDiablo.com. Even if it is a MMORPG, we don't know if there will be two factions. Blizz is famous for unexpected twists, so it would be wise to expect a huge twist in Diablo3. -
May 13, 2008blackcanopus posted a message on Diablo 3 News WatchI am so tired of this, guys. We all know what the "Top-Secret" game is. If they were working on something really new and original (Blizzard? Working on something new & original? Now that's odd...), which I am sure they aren't, they would not call it a "Top-Secret" game. "Top-Secret" is just a tease, for a title which has a very strong fan-base. No one would like to tease you with something you don't know or care about. Blizz has four important IPs with strong fan bases. First, Warcraft (RTS). Since they are working on Starcraft2, so we won't be seeing Warcraft 4 in a very long time. Second, Starcraft. A sequel is already in the making. Fourth, WoW. WotLK is already in the making, and WoW2 is very, very unlikely. All I can think about is the third option. All of you know what that option is. No need to mention what happened to Diablo3.com, just a few days ago.Posted in: News

May 13, 2008blackcanopus posted a message on Diablo3.com becomes Diablofans.com! Blizzard acquires diablo3.com.Sorry for the interruption, but I was the one who posted that message in the first place (in a completely different thread: http://www.diablofans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7559&page=10) and thanks to people like atrumentis and waddlez, I now know that there is probably nothing special about the image. The complete image can be seen using a wide-screen (16:9) LCD, so there is nothing really important about it. The final images are "The Dark Portal" and "Tassadar".Posted in: News

The begining of his story was very similar to the Sauron's at Silmarillion, so I used his picture at my avat, cuz I found this picture as a view of Sauron's human shape;).
I was talking about being a Golden Dragon, and you did not answer. Here is the fun fact: I never asked about your avatar, I asked about your screen name. In truth, your screen name had nothing to do with a Golden Dragon, your avatar did.
If you are a Golden Dragon, then you are eluding an answer... If you are not, then sorry. -

Clever. You be right, comrade. That banner is not so special after all. It is used in other Blizz[dot]com pages as well. It is just a normal banner! But I as far as I know, those final images are like nothing I have ever seen in any Blizz title. Maybe they are from a book or something (I don't think so), or maybe from an upcoming game. The final image, it does not concern me too much. But the guy with the staff in his hand...if someone comes up with an explanation, then I can finally go to sleep.Quote from "Atrumentis" »The banner only expands to accommodate for people with widescreen monitors, don't you think?
oohhh this is exciting.
P.S. I was using a 4:3 monitor when I saw that. I am home right now, and I am browsing that page using both my monitors, one LCD 16:9 and one CRT 4:3. You are absolutely, definitely, perfectly, ... right. The whole banner is visible on 16:9 monitors. Using 4:3 monitors, however, you can only see 65 percent of the image. What does it mean? It means there are no secrets hidden in that god damned image. Now I can only say if Blizz guys wanted to give us a clue or a a hidden message or something like that (as they usually do, like they did with the first teaser movie for Starcraft 2), they would definitely come up with a much better plan. Time for some rumor-control, I think. -

Luck? Luck has nothing to do with understating a small clue, or finding a hidden truth.Quote from "serb1420" »1st = From the Blizzcon 2008 banner.
2nd = Enlarged 2nd figure
3rd = From a Diablo 2 trailer/video. Appears in some more.
Did this for fun so if I'm wrong :O...but maybe someone has better luck looking around
If you believe in luck, then all I can wish for you is...Good luck. You'll need it.
P.S. Do you think it was luck, or coincidence, that 2 turns into 3? Look at the picture above. Look carefully. 4 small figures and a banner, the banner expands...now we have 6. -
May 13, 2008blackcanopus posted a message on Blizzcon 2008 Announced6th picture: The third story. Maybe, just maybe, it has something do to with this website? Who knows?Posted in: News
7th picture: Maybe something to do with the stars...and ghosts...
Oh my god...I am sooooo bad
*laughs to death, in an unspeakable, evil manner*
P.S. The second, and third images (the guy, and the white figure) are in fact, a single image. -
May 13, 2008blackcanopus posted a message on Blizzcon 2008 AnnouncedInteresting. Very interesting. Those Blizz guys have a new secret in their website. Go to this address:Posted in: News
http://www.blizzard.com/us/press/080512.html
Look at the header image above the main text, under the menu. What do you see?
From left to right you can see:
1.An orc
2.A guy
3.A white figure
4.Marine
5.Smoke
Now save the page with FireFox (Web-page, Complete). Go to "080512_files" directory. Take a look at "inblizz-header.jpg"...OH MY GOD! What do you see now?
6.A guy with a staff
7.A robot
Blizz guys...they always want to tease us. And all that I can say is...I LOVE YA. Rock on. Am I wrong, or what?:cool:
P.S. Here is the image.

Agreed. I don't want to play a Diablo MMO. While it would be nice to have better multi player options (better than Diablo 2, off-course) but a Daiblo MMORPG or Diablo Online or whatever would be really disappointing. Although many people (and specially many new comers, console gamers and casual gamers) would play that game and enjoy it, I wouldn't even give it a go. Not because it would be a bad game. We all know Blizzard games are awesome. But if they don't even care what the fans think, I would be more than pissed to go and buy a game that shouts "fans suck".Quote from "goodguy8705" »They will not have 3 huge games announced and in development at the same time. At best, the only game getting announced will be their new next-gen MMO and if it's Diablo 3, well then screw that. Diablo 3 becoming an MMO will kill of a large chunk of the fan base waiting for a tried and true Diablo experience.
You all can get your hopes up, but it's a giant mistake. You'll see.
I think (in fact I am pretty sure) it is temporary. Blizz guys did a favor for us. Nice.Quote from "Explorer" »MD, shouldnt diablo3.com be redirecting to blizzard's website? It still directs me to here. -

yea... that's complete shit.. it looks like yall did this just to try and get some more regular posters on your forums or something by bringing false attention.
And why would they do that? We don't pay them, we don't help them, we don't do anything. They pay for the servers, they design the site on their own, they deal with technical aspects. What is the use of several more posters? Just look at the your own post, and you will see what new posters do for this forum. Disrespectful posting. -
Apr 30, 2008blackcanopus posted a message on Diablo3.com becomes Diablofans.com! Blizzard acquires diablo3.com.Posted in: NewsQuote from "Medievaldragon" »Hi guys, hope you receive well this news. Diablo3.com is now the official US Site for any upcoming games. We are sad to see it go, but glad Mockery and Umaro spent so much resources and time to reserve this domain name -- willing to give it to Blizzard anytime they asked for it. Other people would have wanted a ransom for it. That shows you Mockery is first and formost a loyal fan.
When We heard this our reaction was WTF, but then it hit us ... OMG! -- something is getting cooked.
Many people were right on the nail, others got close. Remember this?
It's different to say:
The Frog jumped across the lake
than
The frog was thrown across the lake.
The difference on the first sentence is ... the frog jumped volunteerly, not forced ... or as some speculated, "taken". Mockery granted the domain name in mutual agreement ... a fan himself, he was glad to. There was no sale. It was given free.
First: Thank you. It is a rare thing these days. Rare indeed.
Second: So we were right. It was Blizzard acquiring Diablo3.com. It was the logical thing. And as I have already said, the real countdown begins today. Blizzard World Wide Invitational in June. I am sure, They are going to announce it.
Third: By the way, the new default font size is very small. Could you please increase it a bit? - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

I think they must be ASCII, but what if it is turned backwards? For example:
11110000 -> 00001111
Or what if it has been shifted? For example it has been shl or shr 666 times?
I donno, I am not sure.
