    Agreed. They already essentially did this for monster affixes - there is a list that includes Frozen, Arcane, etc. and they're only able to pull two or three affixes from the list.

    Playtested a bit after leveling up the Bane of the Powerful to 25 (I already had a 25 Mirinae).

    I love Mirinae for Rift Guardians, where it can add as much as 50% extra DPS when there are no adds on the screen. But after running with BotP it wasn't close. The latter significantly improved my run speed, and had nearly 90% uptime running T6 rifts. I may move to 2 gems soon and Mirinae will definitely be the second, but as much as I love its concept I'll have to stick with BotP for the time being.

    no, you cant replace RoRG, I have a 8cdr Vigilante, tried it, the captain set is way better, the bonus from the set AND the cost reduction is not replaceable by the belt. You lost 2CDR+the cost reduction, when you out of wrath, that means death, cus for shotgun procs 3 of the bean each shot...those LOH is live saving, in solo (unity+SOJ) isnt better than RORG+SOJ in survivablity. Besides if you want to roll CDR on unity, you will loose a lot dps from the stat....Gem wise, it's diminishing above 33 level, melee sux in high level even plus the new gems.

    I wholeheartedly disagree. The IAS on RoRG is essentially worthless in a Shotgun build. You're giving up a primary affix of your choice for 2% CDR (effectively 1/4 of an affix) and another affix that you would never put on a piece of gear by choice.

    Not only are you statistically better off in my opinion, but this provides the flexibility to switch rings (ie: Unity) without otherwise switching gear.

    Sadly, not a build that I recommend playing without 6 piece Akkhan's and Fate of the Fell... on it's own, HF:FOH is prohibitively expensive at 40 Wrath. It's impossible to output consistently without the reduced cooldown and cost. Fate of the Fell is what makes it the "shotgun" build, tripling the damage output. Very tough without the required gear, even at lower Torments.
