Your question is kind of funny considering that there won't be another crisis since it will destroy us.

I would say that they've alienated the public enough that the frenzy alone will make it hard for them to make mistakes in the future.

I'll bet they'll make the female monk look like the basic design of Balsa from Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit

Shaolin monks took part in alot of battles and were drafted into the military in various times in Chinese history.
they were like the special forces of today
below would be some of the more famous examples

missing from that is a small force of monks who rescued the future Tang Emperor, Taizhong (Li Shiming) from an ambush

    That answers my question. Thanks.

They'll probably make gold worth collecting by making traders give off things that are worth buying instead of bland generic items.

Is there any lore to support something similar to the rogue in D1 coming from the south west. Save for the monestary rogues, like a thieves guild or something mentionable?

Anyone else think Zealot would be a more appropriate name instead of Monk?

I don't know of any monk sects in the world that have ever applied martial dicipline to war. Monks are ritualists, not crusaders.

...can anyone justify the name Monk over Zealot?

For those of you who are not aware of Postal 2, you can use a CAT as a silencer for shotguns and machineguns.

Aside from that you can even set them on fire and let them go wild.

Funny and gross. You can shoot peoples legs off and they'll bounce around on 1 leg too.

Well WoW got boring eventually, Warcraft 3 never did. Diablo 3 seems very similar to Warcraft 3 if you really use your imagination. I'd say that Diablo 3 would be fun if it had a DOTA type of PVP map.

Well you have to remember that not all knights only used melee weapons.... A lot used ranged weapons like crossbows and rifles.

Yes, I saw that. Since it didn't offer any information, either on the patch or on Diablo III, I didn't put it up.

@ Ranim: Dunno, if you're talking about this OP, nothing was edited out by me and I was the last person to edit it. There's a section at the top about PvP, although I think there may be something in one fo the other updates, as well.

It went like this... Mockery asked the rep if he could join a game and attack somebody.. and the rep said something to the effect of Yes, but it isn't activated in the game. Then he said he looked for the function and found it but it didn't do anything.

There was more but that's the basic body of it.

That's pretty much that whole point in deleting them - it gives you an easy way of escaping any situation, which kinda kills strategy. You go in a very difficult dungeon, saying "oh well, I'll go in there anyways and just TP myself out if it's too hard."
They have waypoints too. If you played Titan Quest you know what im talking about.... that basically eliminates the need for the portals....

was there any mention of how PvP is gonna be implemented?
having a specific server for PvP?
having an option to turn it on or off when ever you want it (when you challenge or get challenged)?
or specific areas in the game (arenas)?
I tried looking for the mention of the PVP... mockery had spoken to a Blizzard Rep and apparently revealed the PVP function being similar to the previous game... suffice it to say I can't find it... infact it seems to have been edited out.

I most definitely remember reading it yesterday.

posted a message on Lack of info at blizzcon?
I hated the monk, I hated the lack of more info on the Rune system, and I hated the lack of details on the new mercenary system. I loved the Desert environments though.

The WoW expansion was okay but not very exciting beyond the revamping, crummy new races..... btw the Goblins racial mount is supposedly a Hot Rod..... Read it in the Gamespot news article.

Starcraft was so/so, not too much info, but the art panel had some cool things to show... so many different terrain styles... awesome.
