Quote fromactually i wouldn't be that disappointed....
I wouldn't also, it's just the idea of how strange it would be, seeing they left it aside for so long... Nostalgic would be the word to describe it.
I believe Magistrate is right, but I want to reinforce that the idea of announcement is just the simple proof the game is being worked on, very different to what Blizzcon is expected to show. At WWI, we're just hoping to have our wishes realised, with everyone saying: "Here's a teaser! But that's all you get from us now, bye!"; but only at Blizzcon we shall see clearly which way it's heading, through actual gameplay and more in-depth explanations.

Edit: out of the question, but link stays for people to check the diablo 2 link just in case. ^^

I noticed that too topaque... well lets hope for the best eh?
Anyway what concerns me most is the WTF reaction from MD and Umaro.... I get quite uneasy with the idea of a shocking news and I imagine what it could be about....
But I'd like to ask MD or Umaro... which of you got the news first? And can you mention the source?

Anyway, I think the poster is not so relevant because I actually remember Diablo was also on the one from last year... But I recall no inclusion of a Diablo II link on the website...

ps. that would mean a date before WWI

And although I hope its something on the lines "we have proof they're working on D3, here's ONE piece of programming or ONE screenshot" I am ready to accept an interview or at least some concrete proof they're announcing it soon (like a pic of some WWI artwork for example). This would mean Blizz is not really bothering about it because:
- They know we're expecting some Diablo news for this WWI
- Diablo3.com is not giving away any vital info on the project

Hm, I don't know for sure what will happen on may 1st. But the question I havn't seen in this topic so far actually is what's keeping me awoken at night: never in the past years I saw Umaro or (for the past year almost) Medievaldragon holding any type of news to themselves and setting up a date for all to know, building such expectation from the users... so I'd say that either there's a finger of Blizzard in this plot or Umaro has gone crazy with all these years waiting for some news... well I personally hope for the first occasion...
Anyway I'm intrigued with the timing of such events... and I wonder who got the news first: Medieval, after so many emails to Blizzard finally got something but decided to omit it from his thread (I think this may well be what happened.. remember the Diablo II patch thread?); or Umaro?
Anyway if its something this great really happening, I congratz them for the achievement, and especially Umaro who actually has done a godlike job with this site for the past 7 or so years.
