    If you want to get technical. Pirates used anything on the ship that could be used in a way to hurt or kill someone. There were very few limitations to the items they used for weapons.

    They even used parts off of the ship as weapons.

    Fifth class is set in stone already according to Bashiok.
    Kinda unlikely it will end up being a Pirate because they said it is a major card in the game.

    I just don't see the Pirate being a major part of Diablo III.

    Let's hope for Pirate in Expansion. :)

    It must be really hard to find Unique gems.

    The only one I've found so far was a Chaos Gem.
    All others were standard emebers, skulls, eyeballs, and 3 shimmering scales.
