Go to "start menu" and find/click "Connect to" and click on "show all connection".

where is the connect to thing?

well, i hope your question s answered on the other thread but the other thing you can do is..well it required shutting down your computer for the whole night.

here's what you can do too:
start menu click "RUN" type "command" or "cmd" then type "ipconfig/release" then turn off your computer for the rest of the nght and turn it back on the next day morning.

i don't know if this really work but that's what a friend of mine told me..but if it's true, i guess it'll save you the hastle of going through all those steps but requires shutting down your computer for the whole night though :(

sorry i was afk had to eat dinner and do my homework and thankly my mom is nice enough to let me stay till 10:30 tonight since i've been doin good on other stuff for schoo.
so anyway, i believe there are other ways to get this whole proccess be done. and i'm sorry num3n i couldn't reply back...but as i predicted there's other people here know what i was really tryin to say or even trying to help others specially you.
i don't have that much knowledge on computers but i'm definitely know how things work slowly since i'm still learning.

i hope your questions are answered..if not, there's always answers for your questions here as we're part of this site. just ask hopefuly me or anybody here will surely help you :)

other thing too is, i did some research couple minutes ago and end up there's videos you can watch on how to do this....i found them at youtube.com and search "how to change ip address" i'm sure you'll find them very interesting and useful.

You performed this activity on ONE computer. Therefore, you can only guarantee the safety of such an activity on your computer, or a similarly configured.

I am just saying be careful with telling people to do this if no one is sure what would this cause. Perhaps someone on this forum is good with internet stuff?

lol if my sister is around she'll be glad to help but sadly she no longer interested bout the game and even i guess helpin the peeps since she's tied up now...(married)

are you talkin bout if there's 2 computers in one household sharing signal on 1 modem or a wireless enternet connection?

well as of my knowledge the main computer which connected to the modem/router should be the one performing this activity rather than the second computer in your house that gets its wireless signal from the modem/router......lol i might be wrong but i'm pretty sure you'll get an idea of that :)

    REALM DOWN PROBLEM?
    NO PROBLEM AT ALL! :D

As far as i remembered these steps are what my sister told me to do if i ncouter a
"realm down" experience while playing the game.
~Basically this will reset your ban IP address to a new IP address. :)~
(also work on other online-games if you get realm down etc,.)

    Here it gos:

    step 1:
Go to "start menu" and find/click "run".
in the "run" box type: "command" or "cmd".
in the command window type: "ipconfig/release" then close/exit.

    step 2:
Go to "start menu" and find/click "Connect to" and click on "show all connection".
find "local area connection" right-click and click "properties".
then in "General page" scroll down and find "Internal Protocol (tcp/ip)" double click on it.
click "use the following IP address".
on the "IP address" type any number you like example:[12,12,12,12] then press "OK"
(it should show an "error message" but keep pressing "ok" until there's no more error
    message pop)
Go back and double-click "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" on the "Local area
    Connection".
then click "Obtain an IP address automatically" press "OK" then ok/exit.

    step 3:
Repeat "step 1" but this time in the command window type: "ipconfig/renew" then
    enter/exit...TADA!!!!

"YOU ARE NOW ABLE TO PLAY DIABLO2LOD AGAIN!!!! :D"

    thanks to:
