I think that is best enjoyed reading directly than from a detailed summary. It was kinda nice to see Tyrael's angle in defending Sanctuary redeeming his first prejudice toward the edyrem.

Yea for sure, after playing the games, I was wondering how Tyrael would make his ties to Sanctuary, and even though I knew it was coming, it still really blew me away. Only good authors can do that. :)

Im going to start reading the books eventually, I read moon of the spider and hated it.

Oh man, that book gives a bad first impression to be honest.
I really loved the other three though, especially Legacy of Blood. Although they all really held my attention in a darker light than most of the fantasy novels I am used to.

Haha, I've read the trilogy and agreed that it really was an amazing read, plus a great addition to diablo lore.
Amazing review by the way, you really give the book justice. :D

    I hate the wii controls.
I like boxing and tennis, but thats about it.
Otherwise, I get bored after 30 mins.
    Keep it classic!

posted a message on Things we want to see/have in Diablo 3
I havent read through 116 pages to see if this was said previously, but how about guilds. :)
I would LOVE to see that used in D3, even though its not an MMO.(hopefully)
More like how clans were used in Wc3, where you get a clan channel, and can change your tag, and even see your tag ingame.

posted a message on Changes to the Diablo Lore
As a recent reader of the sin war trilogy(I've read all 4 previous novels too), I truly 100% stand behind the changes in diablo lore. Personally, these books made it easier to really sink my teeth into the realm that is sanctuary. I've grown to respect and love pretty much every aspect of diablo lore, now that I have a better understanding through the books.
Personally, I never got far in Diablo 1, although I've had my good share of lvl 90's in D2, so I'm missing out on alot of the gaming diablo lore that you talk about.
Regardless of changes, diablo lore is incredible.

Edit: Lets count how many times I say... "Diablo lore"

World of Delaying-Doing-Anything-About-What-Thousands(Maybe Millions?)-of-Blizzard-Fans-Have-Been-Waiting-for-Years-While-Already-Having-New-Games-Out-for-Every-Other-Universe, or as I like to call it: WODDAAWTOBFHBWFYWAHNGOFEOU. Rolls right off the tongue.

    HAHAHAHA.
    I love it!

But really, I think that Freak_of_nature has come up with a pretty valid point. Theres been alot of hype on SC:2, so then, why not create even MORE hype on the starcraft franchise by releasing an MMO? I doubt Blizzard could come up with a crap MMO, even if they tried. (But thats my personal opinion, dont flame me rofl) Besides, with both games creating so much hype off each other, it would make the franchise seem all that more amazing...
And Blizzard tops the gaming charts once again...
It would be a pretty interesting MMO too.

Personally, I'm hoping for a whole new franchise. Just to see what Blizzard could come up with next. HOPEFULLY. An MMOFPS. If anyone could do it, Blizzard could.

Edit: Whoa, I just realised how offtopic this post is.
    Uhh...
    Woot! D2 patch soon!!12!@!#1n3u121!

Yea, I think that only half of the diablo community recognize "Sanctuary" as the diablo world.
Blizz would want a hell of alot more then half its loyal fans haha.

posted a message on A change I think they will implement for D3
I love that idea of different skills and AI's based on your level.
They kind of implement that in lineage 2 raid bosses, where they will silence you (unable to cast magic) if you are too high a level, but thats just so high levels can't kill lower raid bosses on their own, so thats a bit to the extreme.

    Definatley a good idea though.

True, it's hard to read so much speculation, and try to sort out the facts.

Meh, that brings my hopes up then.
As I've said before, D3 as an MMO would ruin me.
    Rofl.

posted a message on Side Quests
I don't know about any of you people, but I'm a huge fan of side quests.
It's been incredibly successful in alot of new games, and it's hard to find a new RPG without them.

What would be neat, is if you could talk to pretty much any civilian you see wandering the streets of whatever town your trying to save. Since the war in Sanctuary has such a mass effect, I doubt that you'l find anyone who doesn't have a problem that needs solving, and with some sort of reward in return.

Let me know what you think about this idea, and throw out some examples if you want. :)

I actually just went paintballing my first time in december for my 19th at an indoor Woodsball (I think) place.
It was honestly the most fun I've had in iunno how long.
I did pretty decent I guess, considering we we're facing pro's that work there haha.
Oh, and I learned one thing.
NEVER let them know its your birthday.
I swear to god, even when you raise your hands and call hit, they still shoot haha.

Wow, so Team three, who some of us guessed to be the diablo team, is definatley working on the MMORPG then eh?
    Thats kinda lame...
Either Team 3 isnt diablo, or we're stuck with another blizzard mmorpg.

posted a message on What Will Be Blizzard's Next MMO?
Apparently there are already a couple MMOFPS's, so there isnt a question about weither or not it would work.

You could obviously find certain guns and modifications that could match certain guns maybe.
I bet it would be based more on combat and skills then item finding and hunting.
I know its hard not to compare any MMO to WoW, but this could be drastically different.
