when i was talking about the 100 posts i meant this site now. with the rules now. if we had a site for sick. then it oculd be more organized possably too. instead of searching threads. there are links for pages. and stuff like that.
but we could still use this site for disscusions and stuff. which will get players on diablo 2 who join into this site and get them more active in this site as well as are own.
No offence but do you know how hard it is 2 make an entire web site? from Scratch no doubt? and i know People on here could do it quite easily but the time requirement would still take quite a while Imo..

personally in a clan i would rather have about 5-20 people who are constantly playing, and are very very good at the game. i cant stand playing with people who dont know what the fuck they are doing. sick just has way to many people, and alot of them are newbies or just arent good at the game.
with few exceptions sick is just a shitty clan with a gay name. people like bambi, silver, ferret, winston, and a few others should break off and make there own elite clan without such a gay name.

1) the whole eastern sun mod thing i won't personally go any where near because the last Moded Version of Diablo 2 i played carried 3 trojans with it!!!
2) I think that people thinking that 'Runs' define activity is just plain retarded ( i don't really hold back >.>)
3) i know diablo or diablo 2 can get quite redundant but like Magi said Doing things with friends on Diablo or Diablo 2 can really help out with the whole bordem thing
4) last thing for now.. Spanishbard id like 2 see some proof on this so called chatting about making this "Guild" Better or just them chatting in general about this topic

I need to say something about everyone whining about people being inactive.
SICK is not a diablo 2 clan. It is, iirc, an elite clan that is readying itself for Diablo III and be the ultimate diablo 3 clan, guild, whatever. People like magistrate (yes im saying your name, I'm not about to cupcake this message) are thinking they're Gods and acting as if every other person in the guild does nothing because they don't regularly play Diablo 2: LOD.

hmmm. im going to throw a couple ideas i had while reading the posts on this page above.
while reading ferrets post i thought yes it would be a good idea advertising for chaos/baal runs. also, i havent looked at the guild rules on this yet. but maybe make a bot runner that could run the games. which would be easyer to advertise sick then a member actually going through many runs a day and type the advertisement. (im willing to get a hammerdin and run the bot program myself if people dont want to do it)
also while reading ferrets post. i know we sometimes have a channel bot on there. (no knowledge of bots period.) but is it possible to make some kind of time sheet for it. to show when members join the channel that it makes a record that they entered channel at x time. and left at y time.(problem with this would be people could just log on and log off and it would say there active)
Ummmm if you haven't noticed ferret is actually againest using bots to mf/lvl/chaos/baal/leach.. so im guessing he would have to say no to a chaosing/baaling/advertiseing bot.. what he meant by doing that was that we run chaos to lvl eachother all the time and ppl say things like.. "wow you guys are kool.. can i join sick?" i believe thats what he meant any way.. Once again this is just in my opinion :thumbsup:
God dude, stop it. There’s no need to add that cheesy junk to this discussion. I normally completely stay out of the SICK discussions, as I am not in it. Then I think, why aren’t I in SICK. Isn’t my opinion of the guild equally useful as anyone else’s?
One thing I noticed about SICK, and pretty much the forum in general, is no one ever demotes the useless people. You can’t build a ranking system and have it completely ineffective. Ferret preferably should completely take control since he is one of the most dedicated Diablo players. No one likes a useless leader. Just like no one likes useless admin. The organized, dedicated, articulate members need to be the higher-ups.
Elfen made another good point. Someone needs to put their foot down and say, “this is how it’s going to be, if you don’t like it, you’re out of clan”. Look at the patterns of most other guilds or clans, they have a “you must log in every 7 days to remain an active(LOG IN TO DIABLO 2 NOT THIS FORUM) member”. Something like that needs to be established. There are too many useless kiddies who are like COOOL GUILD!!!! Then invest little to no time into the guild. Get rid of them, today. You need to recruit. God, recruit. ACTUALLY recruit people. All of your members are ones that just so happen to trip over it in the forums. There is another clan I’m aware of that says “Each Officer must recruit at least 1 individual by this date: X/X/XXXX or you will be demoted”. Things like this need to be pushed. Everyone needs to contribute. Delegation is the key. Everyone sits here and blabs about the philosophies of a good guild. Stop talking about it, and start doing it. Stop whining about ineffectiveness and inactiveness of a clan for months and months. Stop being lazy and go get it fixed. I guarantee if you had an effective recruitment system, you could have 3 new members by the time the day is over. No, you’d rather act all angst and dramatize about it in the forum.
This is mainly a discussion on Diablo, and I sort of wandered off into politics of the guild. Diablo is an RPG game. You can’t use basic guild mechanics to entice people into joining. You have to prove it’s an RPG guild worth investing into. You need to create a SICK community, think of something fun. Do some competitions.
Example: 8 P.M. Eastern time July 22nd 2008, you must start a new character in hardcore mode. The first person to complete act 1 with no assistance, and no transferred equipment, gets titans.
Example: 8.P.M. Eastern time Aug 27th, you will have two teams of 3 people. The first team to have all of their members reach level 30 receives 1 HR each.
Always have someone available to rush members. Have someone available to rush someone in hell. Who in this guild has a char in soft-core that can rush in hell? Things need to be more accessible in the clan.
Why is the admission requirements tied to this forum? That’s stupid. You have to have 100 posts in the forum before even being considered as a Guild member. That’s a horrible, horrible idea. I agree with the rest of these posts. Completely rewrite that admission thread, it’s rather stupid to have such requirements. Don’t even tie it to the forum.
But, whoa did I go on and on. So to the original post of make Ferret in command of the Diablo section of the Guild. Just from my own observation, I’d say that would be a great idea.

But i defiantly agree with this guy.. you need 2 be able 2 recruit and with the strict rules you have on recruiting it actually scares ppl away!.. for Examples sake here.. we where chaosin some ppl and they asked if they could join sick and the whole Forum Recruiting sheet scared them away
