I really enjoyed your guide and want to build something similar in hardcore. I'm a big lightning fan and have most of the required pieces except for tal which seems unnecessary. Is the general build still similar like in the guide? Your armory differs a little but that may be you experimenting.
I use it with the shatter rune using a FotF/Eberli ascendancy build, it's a good filler in between the 5 second casts. It's actually half decent but only until I get my last piece of akkan. As far as I can tell the second cast doesn't generate additional wrath which is disappointing.
So I'm sitting at 18,000 thorns and still working on gearing up. I've been noticing though that iron skin seems a little unreliable at times. I'll use it but the big thorns numbers don't pop up. It seems like it doesn't always proc. This is especially evident when using the flash rune during fast bounties. I'll pop iron skin, run into a pack, get hit a bunch of times but don't receive the speed buff increase. Seems to work only half the time. Has anyone else noticed this when using reflective skin or flash?
