Tagger, the devs had stated that they would not roll out a mechanics change when leaderboards can be affected. If the leaderboards have closed, I can see them rolling out the patch. It could even be 1 second after the era ends. I don't see them doing it before then because it could adverse affect the leaderboard. (which is something they have said they would refrain from doing).
Now some might have rolled out before the actual season started, but when it came to season specific legendaries, this was limited to seasons start of course and should not affect the leaderboards.
Shrug. Guess, we'll know in 24 hours.
Maybe we are splitting hairs over semantics?
Patch happens tommorrow, changes go live at seasons start or after era ends? Does that make sense?
Traditionally, updates can be downloaded before the actual live date on the patch.
The patch is downloaded but not "applied" until the friday.
I don't think we'll see live tomorrow.
We have had massive updates downloaded prior before going "live" on the local machine.
It's possible they would go "live" tomorrow; however, I think it would only make sense to hold off until friday, when the season ends and the era is done.
Disclaimer: I have like many of you run with very high paragon friends, gotten "free" hellfires". I like some of you have friends who have resorted to botting over time. They are still my friends. I do not wish them to be banned per se - as I inherently value my friends more than the games. I do not think banning once a season or two is a viable solution. So the next best thing is to carve out the non-botting community.
Greetings, as some of you may know, I am the creator of the T6 Legit Community which has since the beginning of ROS laid the foundation of the end game community as we see now.
I along with others are concerned with the amount of botting and lack of enforcement that has occurred on blizzard's side.
I have decided to create a non bot registry community. However, for this to succeed, I will need buy in from Clan Leaders who have zero bot tolerance. The leadership is key here because kicking someone out of this community would mean that they would be kicked out of this clan. Rare exceptions to this rule will be made on a individual basis if warranted.
Since there is no real way to police or know for sure someone is not botting other than word of mouth and interaction with friends. I depend on the clan leaders to enforce zero tolerance.
To create a way for people to communicate and utilized pooled resources, I would like to create this community for everyone who does not want to be affiliated with the botting population.
THUD policy will be don't ask don't tell. Granted, I do not want to kick people out of the community for using THUD. So each clan can have their own THUD policy. If a clan decides to kick someone out for using THUD, they will in turn be kicked out of the community since they are not in a zero-tolerance clan. There's a chance of course that person could be picked up by another clan within the community.
The community will not kick out members suspected of botting. This will be up to the clan leaders.
If you are interested please post here or let me know in Game, phatty#1821
This is my first and most likely last attempt to create something like this. Obviously, the game may be too old and fargone for this to succeed. The botting population may very well be needed to have any end game community at all.

We did a lot of testing. It's better to be faster than it is to be HIGHER. So the moment you aren't getting +10 level grift key awards is a mistake. So you should be 34-35 grift levels or lower to get sub 3 minute clears.
_________________________________________
Some people with AWESOME gear, will be able to complete higher grift level, but it all comes down to speed more so that grift level.
There are always going to be some amount of free loading going on. Even in T6 we have occasional carries that make it into groups.
Ask for an invite through the community system, search for T6 legit, we should pop right up. We usually run around 80 - 150 members online at any given time.
As activity has significantly decreased over the last few weeks with PTR and the coming up patch in 2.12, we have seen a significant decrease in applications for our community - and as a result, have moved back to the online invite system through the game.
Softcore - and both season/nonseason. We do not have a significant hardcore population unfortunately.
Search for T6 Legit in the community tab and request an invite to our community.
General requirements:
Legendary Gems around 35 x 2.
Paragon Level of 400 or higher.
One of the end game cookie cutters for entrance with near BiS pieces with appropriate attributes - specifically skill rolls (12/13 slots - sometimes 11 - depending on the case).
We are a gateway community to many top clans (DNA / Unity / Diety / Dragon / SM / SoS / Asylum / etc..) and other specialized communities including NA Elites and Greater Rift Elites.

I looked at your gear and I am not one of the DH screeners. Give me a friend request in game and I will do a play through with you with one of the DH class reps and make a determination.
My inkling outside of build, is that your gemmed with diamonds instead of emeralds, also you're using a manticore as opposed to a calamity or something along those lines. That being said - looks like your damage depending on your paragon point distribution and if you had emeralds looks okay. You have some elite bonus, a good fire bonus, a good skill bonus for cluster. Your base dps would benefit the most with emeralds.
I do understand that for solo play diamonds may be necessary, but let's go ahead and take this conversation to the game and not clutter this thread with denial reviews.
On the community tab, you can search for us. Keyword rifters or legit.
We have about 130 members now.
Each one is screened for build and gear to make sure they are T6 appropriate.
Our goal is to have people finish their T6 rifts under 10 minutes. So most of the players that are taken are felt to be at or very close (1 gear slot) away from this.
Some general guidelines.
Your sheet dps adjuster FOR paragon points but unbuffed otherwise should be 2 billion against elites for straight forward DPS classes.
In regards to paragon level, we expect you to be around 300 or higher.
You should be able to survive and solo T6 on your own with "decent" clear times - 12-15 minutes at most.
If you aren't a dps class, like zds or a permafear wd, we just purely at gear and build. For example stunbell monks should have near perfect chc 45% or higher, with a CDR of 65%.

I stand corrected.
I was almost 100% certain that blizzard would not compromise the era leaderboards.
Guess not. LOL.

That's why there are tons of hotfixes that occur in the beginning of each season?
