posted a message on Open Letter against Botting

Though I do recognize the idea behind the letter, it really loses a lot of credibility for me when I see the names that signed it.

When it's the so called top 1% of the 1% of the community that voice their opinions, I say this loosely since they have yet to show any valid proof of those claims, merely accusations.

Again to the idea of the letter, I agree that breaches in TOS should be punished.

But I must admit, it just really makes me wonder to true motivation behind the letter?

And if *imo* this poorly worded letter is the most appropriate way to reach those within Blizz that has the powers of change?

posted a message on CDR and Heal Potions
I was just pondering today, why doesn't CDR affect heal potions? Shouldn't it?

I don't think that this is something that would give a major competitive edge per say, but was just curious as to why it does not affect it?

posted a message on Stupid sentry targeting
thanks for the replies, i'm not trying to make a big deal out of this. as it was mentioned, it is not frequent enough to call it a critical bug of sorts. but it can definitely be called annoying at times when it wasn't like this before.

posted a message on Stupid sentry targeting
This is something that I have been noticing more and more as of lately.

That either the sentry will just sit there next to a mob and NOT fire.

    OR

Place a sentry directly next to a elite/rg and it turns to shoot at some white mob half way across the screen.

This was never a problem before the patch that I can remember, actually thinking about it it was more of the same problem with some of the WD pets before the patch. Is it just me noticing these things, or is this more of a common thread amongst others as well? Or has the problem always been there before and I've never truly noticed it until lately?

posted a message on T6 Guaranteed Drops
Have been KW farming for 10hrs straight today *i'm retired and have nothing better to do*. And I split up that time with 1/2 solo farming, and the other half in public groups farming. I did this just to get a balanced run of it all. And out of all that farming for that many hours I still only came away with: 14- Key of Bones, 13 - Key of Gluttony, 13 - Key of War, 12 - Key of Evil. Now all of these games were run on T6 to max out the 'supposed' drop rate.

So that just a avg of 5.2 per hour running *since I saw no difference in drop rate in public to solo runs*.

Is this the kind of drop rate that we are to expect for keys?

posted a message on Key Warden in Act V?
Just a thought or more of a question concerning our beloved farming of the Key Wardens.

As it is we currently have four KW's in acts i-iv respectively.

So I guess my question is... Why can't there be a KW in Act V that gives the opportunity to drop any of the keys from the other acts?

Think of it as you will with the same approach that blizz used for the bounty caches in how Act IV and how it has the chance to drop loot associated with the other act caches.

Just a thought, but what is your opinion?

posted a message on Stupid WD pets?
My question is simple. Why are the WD pets so stupid?

I've only been playing a wd a couple of months now, so I am by no means a expert on the class, will always be learning about it I fear. But I've noticed on many occasions that the pets are just downright STUPID! I'll give a couple of example to prove my point.

    1) Fighting a group of whites *trash* at a distance of about 10-15 game yards away, and the pets just stand there next to me with the proverbial 'thumb up there asses' doing nothing.

    2) Fighting an elite that may spawn adds and watching the pets disengage from the elite boss only to chase down the worthless add that was spawned, thusly blowing any type of cooldowns that you might have set up for that elite fight.

So I guess my real question might be, is this the normal behavior of the pets? Or is this just some sort of snafu with the pet targeting coding? I recognize that while the pet targeting code may be difficult to please all players out there. But I would think that they *developers* could learn something from yet another Blizzard game - WoW and there pets aggro selectable stances. By no means am I suggesting that this is a cure for what I will refer to as "stupid-pet syndrome". But I would like to think that it might be a step in the right direction for all of the pet/follower users out there.

Please feel free to 'flame' away at this humble post, or please point me in the right direction for further reading that may assist in my understanding in these pet issues.

Thank you for your time reading and possibly enhancing my understanding of this problem.
