Playing S5 at live server to get a portrait + a new stash tab + new pets + some more cosmetics.. may be a reason .. These wont take much time and I think the players will be mainly at NSeason side with 2.4..
When I see a lot of players at PTR season I thought I missed something but I see that the only main reason is to give feedback to Blizz..
Well, the function of the PTR is to test the changes implemented after all.
As the title says, does the affix make any difference at all? For example, if I had two weapons, and one has 1-2 fire damage and the other has 1-2 cold damage, would this affect the damage of any of my skills?
Hey guys I have a quick question. When using the firebats skill with the Hungry Bats rune, it says "Rapidly summon bats that seek out nearby enemies for 350% weapon damage as Fire." So does that mean that every single bat cast inflicts 350% weapon damage?
Hey guys I'm hoping someone will be able to help me out here. I use the Spyder 4 Pro to calibrate my laptop monitor's colors However when I run the game in fullscreen mode, the game seems to reset my colors to what it was before calibration. Running the game in windowed fullscreen mode, however, maintains the calibrated settings. Problem is that my FPS drops in windowed fullscreen mode so I'm hoping to be able to run the game in fullscreen mode. Anyone know if this is possible, while maintaining the color calibrations? Thank you in advance.
How does soul harvest affect the DPS of the dogs and the garg? I see 2 possibilities.
1) You summon your pets at the start. You then get a 5-stack soul harvest later. Your pets have their DPS increase only for the duration of the soul harvest.
2) you summon your pets at the start. You then get a 5-stack soul harvest and RE-SUMMON your pets while you have the stack. Your pets maintain the increased DPS even after soul harvest wears off. The increased DPS only lasts till the pet dies.
Anyone know which of these 2 it is? Would appreciate the info.
I had used that site to obtain the numbers I originally mentioned. I just wanted to know if it was possible to roll 6 max stats for a six-stat armor or weapon.
Hey guys I was wondering something. Is it possible for items to have any stat combination possible? Or are there certain limitations? For example, the maximum value for primary stats on a 1-hander is 350. So if it possible for a sword to roll stats with 350 to int, dex, str and vit on the same item itself? Or are there limits to the maximum number of primary stats that can appear on any item.
Hey dannyboy thank you for the video. I was having difficulty in Act 2 of Hell, and the video really helped a lot. Just wondering what particular build you are using in inferno at the moment. Zombie bears + haunt?
I'm using the Vision Quest variation of the build. So Zombie Bears, Horrify (Frightening Aspect for damage reduction), Healing Journey, Soul Harvest (Siphon), Fetish Army (Ambush), and (Rain Dance) Big Bad Voodoo.
Horrify is optional some good alternatives are: Locust Swarm (Searing Locusts) or (Draining) Haunt for some DOT damage, Mass Confusion (Paranoia) for even more burst and another long cooldown to keep Vision Quest rolling, Gargantuan (if you have the gear to keep him up or are willing to sacrifice Pierce the Veil or Jungle Fortitude for Fierce Loyalty), Hex (Hedge Magic if you want a bit more survivability or one of the damage runes instead), or Wall of Zombies for control. I've been switching around the Horrify slot for some of these to mix things up if I don't have NV at the time.
Ah ok. I'm guessing it difficult to upkeep your mana without VQ?
Also I was messing around with your rainman build and came up with this:
Basically I just spam my bats and use my spiders to bring my mana up when needed. However I am only in Act 3 of hell, and I have been playing co-op. Was wondering it this build would be viable in inferno for solo play.

I activate spirit walk and get into a bunch of mobs and use soul harvest. Then I poison-dart them to death, using my dire bats when needed. My 4 dogs manage to survive decently well. My gargantuan simply doesn't believe in dying! They do keep most mobs occupied while I kill them from a distance.
My question is would it be worth it for me to drop grasp of the dead and replace it with spirit walk instead? So that I could use my soul harvest more efficiently?

The presentation here is simply astounding! Kudos.
3 very interesting ideas listed here. Blizzard could well spread them out over 3 individual expansions. Doto and wave of death appeal to me.
