Keyword: MultiplayerQuote fromBlizzard is considering making both gender models for each class in multiplayer.
Leaving unique gender characters in the single player campaign is the right way to go. The barbarian for instance is unique in his own right (from the videos we've seen).
While in multiplayer they should allow (well force actually) players to generate their own characters including names, gender, visual body & face features etc.
This won't leave either group (those that support multi-gender character creation and those that don't) out in the rain.

It will however bring a different type of problem: carrying over characters that players used while in single player to multi player as it was possible in the previous Diablo games.
The remedy can be found in transferring the attributes, skills and items from the single player character into a new custom-built mp-char when the real-world player would wish to begin playing on-line for the first time by use of a utilize character for mp- games button while on the splash screen menu.
Players that play only multiplayer and do not play sp could skip this and create their own custom characters early on. They could be allowed to transfer characters (making them the sp- unique ones with the complete attribute, skill and item sets they posses) if the core game engine is sophisticated enough to allows this.

As for the idea, well... I'm sure everyone thought of it at one time or another, but it was nice reading up on your view. Blizzard can make one heck of an mmo from this any time.

I am a bit worried about this toning die blut down a bit, but I understood it more as a technical problem from the interview (even considering the option of parental control), not something that will affect the finished standard-version product in a negative way.

First time I hear that rogues have to be in a faction

Oh, I agree- the "act II merc" name sounds lame.
Only reason why they'd be brought back are the polearm weapons which combined with the ranged abilities could fit very well in the missing spot. It can even combine the assassin/rogue/bard philosophies. But having noone to say whether any spears, tridents etc. were dropped in the demos or if the barbarian class can utilize such weapons effectively with the parts of the skill-tree that we know, a discussion cannot exist.
NEWS: By searching through these forums i have also come to the conclusion that the 5th class will be a gYpSiE ftw !! (classname includes "ftw")

And whether lances, spears etc. fall in the same category as two handed axes?? or if it is applicable in the Barbarian skill tree (I don't believe it's same as polearm staves like the monk uses) is important as well as to what the next class will be. ^Rough sketch. I'm not going to make flicks of their names since it will be the same thing. Also classes like "Iron Wolf", Bladesong or Angel don't mean anything. Classes revealed so far are very different and most importanty it is VERY obvious to someone who understands english what their "template" is just by hearing their names. Something too neutral like Soldier, Mercenary etc. or too specific like Archer will not be included either. Class names should be unisex as well considering both genders will be playable.From all these let's see which ones make sense to conceptually use either a bow/crossbow or that aren't too alike the existing playable characters:

And all these default char designs are very similar. Fusion is very likely. Well either that or we are not going to use ranged weapons.

I only recently returned to diablofans, a day before the site visual update so I assumed that was it.

You don't need a better power supply even if you overclock, unless you use multiple cards or something like a GTX295.
My advice? With that graphics card you already have (the evga) I bet you've probably played through most blockubster "demanding" games there were.
So why not wait a month or two until newer generations from ati and nvidia come and then see what's on the market and what games need a more powerful graphics card? Keep your cash for now, your comp is fine (Yeah I know it's hard not spending money). Prices of current hardware will drop as well, but always try to get double, tripple times what you already had when you decide to splurge cash.
