Well, right now my barb has about 15k armor, so this extra armor does not increase my toug that much...
on the other side, im with 1100 allres, so, this adicional 91 allres is a lot to me...
socket on shield? well, to afford this 1 socket (+280str and armor) also wont be such an upgrade as the 11% reduction from elites... I have 17m toug right now, so +11% reduction from elites means +1.8m toug with JUST ONE AFFIX... socket on shield is useless, because even if you would want a socket to put a ruby, it would be better to roll the str itself, capped at 750 (the gems are capped at 280str)
the bis shield should have block% and min-max block amount, and as you can see my stormshield is pretty much capped (45%, 15k-19k)
its impossible to roll allres and armor at the same item, so, rolling that 595armor affix would trow away my 91allres, which I dont think is worth

with this build + 3 ranged dps using the reaper wraps and some life globe passive we can acheive infinite mana/ap/hatred...
this combo is just awesome to farm on t1, with everybody but the barb using the reaper wraps bracer

Got this shield yesterday on my barb, I think it is pretty the best in slot, isnt it?
the stats are almost capped...
