posted a message on Hard Core Arena questions
probly been said but i dont have time to read it all,

**if you make a hc char, you cant play with softcore chars. same as d2.. not officaly anounced but if you could join games with socftcore it would be a total contridiction to the idea of hardcore.

if you can jon areans and play against softcore people would exploit this and item share between game types.

if you play hardcore in arean and die, your dead. game over, but you wont be able to loose to a softcore player.

again probly been said but just saying :-)

-Will you watch intro movies or skip to game play?
As much as im dying to get in and play, blizzard Intro-movies always suck me in and ill watch it for sure.

-Did you take time off work or are you pulling an all nighterr?

For me User-hosted Stores workz best because if someone puts effort in farming the gear than they desrve somekind a reward.
But still you cant be good at the game only if you buy ultra cool super-powerfull stuff , you need to play trough it to see and to experience stuff and you need to devote lot of time just to gain some essential and all that...

Is the reward of gold or trading for an item of equal or better value not reward enough,

If you find an item thats worth somthing to another player selling it for gold or trading it for an item worth somthing to you should be rewarding enough,If by User-hosted store you mean like a trading post system, then sure but for a player to find an item ans sell it for real money to the highest bidder seems unfair and unwise.

I am a casual player i have a wife and a son,and i work 75+ hours a week.. so i wont be one that has endless hours to farm items and i still strongly disagree with item sales for cash.

It ruines the entire game, and its not just the person buying the item thats effected its the entire economy that suffers,Diablo was never a game that you needed to have the best of the best gear to have fun and the longer it takes to get the best gear the longer you get to enjoy the game.

    just my thoughts

Im exicited as hell cain is coming back and from the small vid clip of him hes the same old cain with a whole new story to tell

But..my question is no one thinks hes too recycled ?
blizzard couldnt think of a new inovative way to force feed the story to the player?

Is it possible that bliz made an NPC that 100% of the fan base are happy to have back over and over?

    um...Go bliz!! lol

How old is cain anyway surly there is some indication of his age from d1 that could be used to work it out?

Monk for me, dead last and if its anything like the assn in d2 never,I cant even explain it weather its the combo piont kinda class or just that its one of those classes every one abuses in pvp like the assasins, rouges , witch hunters,

its also the dead opisite of my fav play style (caster) probly making it the wizards worse enemy

posted a message on Repec in d3?
    Hey every one,

My first thoughts about what class id play first were that i should pick the barb, because it would be easyer to gear, because youd need a hard hitting weapon and your set. So id start a barb use him to collect wiz gear and start a wiz.. but if respecs are in d3 that would mean i would not need to stick with a build that was mainly built around not having the gear, ie +skills and HP gear..

The barb in d2 was very easy to build up as a first char. with nothing more then a mace and stam stack, then hed be able to farm enough bosses to collect gear and start building a new class.

So are respecs in confirmed,"confirmed as much as anything can be anyway"?

and if so would the strat I explained even be worth the effort or would it be a better idea to build a wiz around little to no gear and respec later,

    Cheers

lol, yeah I was more acustom to USwest from d2 so I was hesitating to even start on SEA so I bailed asap.
And I am happy with US/SEA I was just asking how people were deciding thats all, they were just my opinions on the two choices,
And sadly big"ripoff"pond" is the only ISP I can get on my exchange :(

I honestly dont want aus.servers they tried that with Warhammer online and it failed so hard.

Hey D-Fans, Going off scII's version of battle net 2.0 south east asia is the Austrlian region, although in diablo 2, my self and many australians played on USWest, mostly because the asia region was populated by non english speakers, and it made game play harder, Also going off bnet2.0 scII real ID on SEA servers wont show that real ID friends from USwest or WoW are online.

So basicly Australians are left with choosing the "laggy" server or "non english" sever...

Its probly way to much to ask blizzard for a better selection for australian/NZ, but i was wondering how everyone else will make that choice and what server they are leaning towards..

    Cheers every one

Being from Australia who went through the same stuff with Starcraft 2, I have asked in the press event questions for this too be raised, but I'm sure will find out whether we will be locked to SEA or be able to freely choose between SEA and US at release ( i hope so )

But mate, your sadly mistaken when saying that US is laggy, I actually connected faster to US then SEA, and mate...... SEA was full of australians..... I suspect your assuming alot of things and only hoping for a Aus server, but that is never going to happen ( you should be happy with US / SEA)

tl;dr If you're running a standard ADSL +2 you should have a perfectly fine connection to any US servers, like myself.

-I acctualy found US servers in SC2 rather laggy, anyoing kind of laggy I run adsl+2 from bigpond, although old cables haunt me and i do play 4v4.
    - As for SEA servers i must admit i spent all of about 4 hours at release on those servers and then went to USwest.

    Quote from MaDDoG1221

I have to agree. Also played on USwest and was bit of a trade off. Hope blizzard can sort something out to give us a hand.

Although have much better internet today playing on some games is still laggy at times. I blame my area for poor connection (30 + year old phone lines) <_<

I live just out of penrith nsw and its semi rural, I hate my calbes aswell!
