While I realize we are a Diablo fansite, I figured I would help you guys pass the time until our beloved game goes into Beta. Not too long ago, I started noticing people talking about a game that "may give Diablo some competition." From what I've played so far, the game is definitely pretty good, though I notice it lacks the same things Diablo 3 does (no modding and it's 100% online). I'm not saying that you should replace D3 with PoE in your hearts, because I surely will not be... But this game should help pass the time until we can get D3 in our hands! That in mind, the Developers of the game have contacted me and given me access to some extra beta keys to give to you guys. I currently only have a few to give away, but I should be getting more soon.

To get a key, simply post a comment on this newspost, follow us on Twitter and Like us on Facebook. We'll be giving a majority of the keys away randomly here, but will also be posting them on FB and Twitter, so make sure you do all 3 to get the best possible chance of snagging yourself a key! I'll begin passing them out Soon(TM)! :).

You can read more about the game from their official website. In addition to hanging out in the #DiabloFans IRC Channel, a bunch of us are also hanging out in #PathOfExile, feel free to join us!

    All done <3

Edit: a mouse and keyboard is something you need to test out your self every gamer has his/her fav style of keyboard but you,ll be far better off going to a shop and acctualy testing it out, bigger shops with display modles is the best place to start, Try some of your RL friends k/bs and see how they go get a rough idea on style and go from there.

I don't like how this would split people up. If I want to play with a friend that's going the "anti angels" path, and I'm an "anti demon" character, wouldn't make the slightest sense. But then again, things making sense in a game is for pussies, right =]?

I don't see them doing anything like this though, making such a huge part of the game (2 different acts) only accessible after you finish the 3 difficulties, and as a 4th difficulty doesn't really sound like their game design philosophy.

This would be why its a once a week, once a month kinda thing, i mean your lvl 60 at the end of hell,so you wont "need" inferno for lvls it could be more like a weekly event, leaving the rest of the week or month to play with your friends.

Its just an idea of mine :) thought id share it and get some convo going thats not "RMAH this RMAH that"

I was just watching the Diablo III The Story So Far - Interview: Boyarsky
and during said interview the question is asked

"is there any chance of humanity in sancuary having to decide to side with Angels or Demons (Heaven or Hell)"

and the answer in short was yes. a good chance of that.

I was thinking just theroy crafting here,i love the idea of Inferno being a new difficulty but i dont know if im a fan of it being a 4th play through.

    So here is my theroy:

Inferno:Your hero gets to choose, Angels or Demons, instead of another playthrough You and other real life players that made the same decision you made, get to either enter heaven and hunt Angels or enter the gates of Hells and smash demons
and some kind of mode where mass mayhem brakes out and a war is sparked, you as your char. must fight for the team you decided to pick. Some kind of End game Once a week Battle or some thing..

The choices are almost limitless, but using this idea, How about people come up with some ideas of what might happen if
we get to choose a side and how that could effect Inferno difficulty

Some kind of "mew mode" of game play that blizzard might throw at us for end game content

I was ready to be negative and start flaming like I often do here at DiabloFans ever since my baby "PvP ladder" got scrapped but holy Diablo Batman this idea was actually good and I think you actually might even be right.

Why would they have a "secret" inferno difficulty if it didn't have some kind of twist.

You get the biggest +1 I have handed out this year. And coming from a negative person like myself that means a lot :)

You will be remembered when Blizzard actually announce your idea and if they don't they damn should listen to you.

    Cheers.

    But wait theres more...

To answer why would you kill your kin.. thats easy diablo has been known to send people completely insane, and it would be a really nice twist for end game to let your hero sercome to diablos over powering mental attacks.

Say 4 players in a party + Some all powerful Demon Vs 4 players in a party +some all powerful Angel

Ofcause tyrael would have to be the referee, and both NPC team members can spawn mobs in waves that players must kill, for HP globes,

So say a game of Chess, as an event so in sperate games players would fight the opisite sides minions, and the team that completes the waves quicker gains some kind of bonus for the "end level" where each party and there "king" be it angel or demon
Get to fight against each other for the victory

So after some co-op PvE smashing wave after wave of mobs, you and your party get to Do some PvP , in an arena style show down, only with an Angel and Demon fighting along side you, buffing you and attacking everything..

Hope this stirs up some imagination....

    Let the thery begin.

I like this idea. In the longrun tho I think they should have multiple coop/pvp modes for the endgame. I really feel thats the only way to make this game appealing for long periods.

It could work on the same idea, a "team heaven and a team hell" both consisting of 4 real players and some angels or demons winer fights a boss of one or the other and gets loots!

    EDIT: Making it more apparent:

IF YOU CANT DOWNLOAD THE FILE: set your region to english.

IF YOU WANT CONNECTION SPEED TO SHOW UP: you have to download the enUS version of the tester, by setting your region to America - English(eu)

was able to toy around with this a little bit.
im danish, so denmark is my default country, therefor when i tried to download the file, it said "file not found" i changed my region to Europe - english, and the file was there, ran the test.

i updated my preferenced, but noticed that connection speed wasnt listen.

so i figured id change my region to "America - English(eu)" i downloaded the enUS test, and it had the new connection speed showed up.

i guess its only the us users who have gotten the new version of the beta obt-in tool

Edit: added a picture of where to set your region all the way at the buttom of the account management site:

very helpful thank you very much,

I was giving it a second thought, would there actually be organized chinese farming since they are legalizing GOLD/DOLLAR trade.. I don't think so, there is no incentives for chinese farmers to go into a sweatshop and farm a certain item anymore, because they can do it by themselves, they don't need a company to sell it for them anymore. They can do all of it themselves...

This is taking for granted the various pleasures of life a citizen of China may not have. For example, a computer, electricity, an internet connection, and a valid license of Diablo III.

So what are you suggesting a farmhouse existing with computers for the to play diablo3 and farm monitoring what they make and taking a cut??

This is how it works, yes. There is a physical building with computers in it, all with Diablo III installed and Battle.net accounts for each copy of the game. Someone owns all this property and hires workers to come in and grind/farm loot a certain number of hours a day. The owner may personally manage the loot obtained or have a whole other department to do so. A gold farmer is literally the standard american office job. Only they play games instead of working with microsoft office. And they have horrible working conditions and hours.

Why is it this way? Well, for an analogous example, I could say what's stopping you from going out into the oil industry and simply doing it all yourself instead of working through a company? For one, you probably don't own an oil rig.

You know what this is the best example iv seen gg no one can do it better this him... winner

No i'm not talking about griefing but the new PvP they have currently is just lame... no ladder, no rank, no sense of real achievements? they're neglecting PvP i understand it's a PvE game but after awhile your gonna urn to PvP and one would think the would of done a better better job than what it is currently.. it's like they're making the game retard proof and with that no wonder they would implement RMAH.... not everyone bought items with $$ in D2 but now they're making that the primary economy for everyone, and if you think people would rather put items for gold instead of $$ than your just stupid. not sure why the hell you typed out such a long respond to my previous post cause honestly my points are valid, RMAH = Blizz being hungry, and lack of PvP? well they have RMAH why wouldn't it be mainly focused on PvE since they want you farming/selling as many items as you can so they can earn a couple bucks.

For most people PVP came after the first play through, get to hell kill baal, find some gears pvp some peeps.. now no one knows how long it will take to get to this piont in d3 but its safe to say, and i think jay W. said it, they can and will be adding them sorts of things in as they go and if the community wants it just not at launch, because they dont want ppl installing clicking find 3v3 game, they want ppl playing pve, so i have no problems with beliving pvp will come later,

I dont wanna say it, and im sure ill cop it. but i played d2 from launch and continued to play untill WoW came out, then i played that from launch, and im not sure how many ppl will remember this but when it started PVP was non existant, then you could pvp/ duel with NO REAL REWARDS, then as it grew and people started liking it more and more they added in rewards and eventualy it became an intire game in its self..

Im just saying there is no gaming comapany that dose content like blizzard, i mean even d2 10+ yrs after launch we got some new content and community events,

In conclusion- "Not at launch." dose no mean NEVER!
