The reason we don't have a 4th search option is obviously not a graphics problem. It's certainly not a computational problem either. The only reason I can think of is because it has some control over pricing of items.
I seriously can't believe anyone thinks a gear swap button would solve anything. Think for 30 seconds about how that would completely break the game. It would also require an entirely new UI built specifically for that purpose. There are 6000 retarded idiots voting on this poll.
#1 Yes, we all know and there are blue posts proving this...the drops rates for sets & legendaries are built around the auction house. So what about having sets being much more common. I'm level 60 and still have not found one set item. Sets in the expansion will be just like McDonald's Monopoly game, the last item in the set is VERY RARE, and maybe 2 items in the set are very uncommon. That way, there can be sets that everyone can find and enjoy without using the AH, but if you want a complete set, then you'll have to save your gold.
Show me this post please, because if anything, the drop rates of sets and legendaries dictate their prices on the auction house and not the other way around
They had to "consider" the accessibility of items from the auction house when coming up with drop rates. They couldn't make legendaries drop like uniques in D2 because it would cause them to become too prevalent
im not been negative, im just saying i have no idea what they could do to add on,and what i mean by that is
1, everything will stay the same, built around the RMAH
2, they will screw around with things we like AGAIN
3, jay wilson will be involved
i hope they dont as it will not be good.
but u never know
My take on this view will refer to the backwards view of politics that the people of the United States have on their failing education systems, "Our schools are failing so our tax dollars are better spent elsewhere." No, that makes no sense. We should be spending more money on education so they don't fail.
An expansion for this game presents the best opportunity to fix everything wrong. I also enjoy this franchise and I want more.
Don't try to make a political slur about U.S. education and try to tie it back into an argument that it has nothing to do with. Troll
Oh I'm sorry that went over your head. I am simply saying that if you want to fix something, it's counter-productive to give up.
An expansion for any game provides new content, but more than anything, it improves and fixes problems. That's all I'm saying.

sucky set bonuses, I doubt they add 3% elemental bonus damage to ur attacks as that would be retarded(9% bonus damage?? lulz)...
Actually, that's exactly how it works.
the +x% element damage affix adds that amount of elemental damage on top of your normal damage. It does not reflect this correctly in the character damage sheet. It is probably broken and overpowered.
Your normal melee attacks will do fire lightning and cold damage. Your spectral blades damage can be boosted 30% simply by using conflagration and cold blooded
are you sure on that, if thats the case conflagration and cold blooded over glass cannon with this set.
well I'm not sure it has the same effect for elemental spells. Spectral blades is simply weapon damage, not weapon damage as arcane or whatever.

The +6% to element damage affix apparently adds 6% to your total damage as that element, so if you have the 4 piece bonus, your unmodified attacks will do cold, fire, and lightning damage. You can buff this tremendously by using cold blooded and conflagration together for a 30% damage increase to spectral blades... Seems a bit broken to me.
I was watching Kripp's stream after he killed Inferno Diablo on hardcore and Athene came on and made a bodacious claim about a new over-powered gear stat that will allow him to retain his ridiculous dps even after 1.0.3 IAS nerfs. He said the boots Zunimassa's Journey were incredibly over powered because of the 6% to poison damage mod. He said it doesn't just add to poison damage, but 6% damage on top of everything. Meaning if you had 100k dps that single mod would raise your damage to 106k dps... I believe this is wrong.
I don't have the money to buy a pair of these boots, but I did just happen to find a Tal Rasha's Adjudication, which adds 5% to holy damage. I assume this is the same mod as the one on zunimassa's, so I did some tests.
Either Athene is completely wrong or I'm missing something. My tal rasha amulet has 131 int, so I bought a cheap 131 int amulet. I also bought two identical weapons, one with holy damage and one with arcane damage.
The tal rasha amulet with 5% holy damage only added about .008% damage increase over the magic amulet. This increase occured regardless of the fact that I don't have any holy damage modifications or spells. I imagine this was because the base damage is simply "a fraction of each damage type at once" and it only added one sixth of 5%.
The holy damage weapon had slightly more damage than the arcane weapon with the tal rasha amulet equipped.
This leads me to believe the elemental mods are working as intended...
Maybe there is something bugged with the boots and that's what Athene was talking about, but just a fair warning, don't buy into his misleading information.
I imagine if I had a tal rasha amulet with 5% to arcane damage, that would greatly increase magic missile and arcane orb damage done by those spells specifically, but not to venom hydra or blizzard.
Has anyone been able to test Zunimassa's Journey? How much damage does it give you?
Don't stand close to edges, and he won't teleport to you.

I used this spec http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/wizard#aROSXQ!daf!abcZaY
With buffs I had:
23801.49 damage
35814 health
600+ resist
508 life per second
66.3% DR from armor
4% extra melee damage reduction
