Dominance isn't very effective once you get into GRs above 40ish. Glass Canon is also my east favorite passive of ours. What level content are you trying to push? If you are pushing GRs, you'll want to change up those passives, but if you are just farming T7-T10, those passives and skills are fine.
There are a lot of variations of DelRasha, all of which are capable of mid 50s, with some able to do low 60s. Ultimately, the exact specifications are up to you, but you absolutely need an Armor spell to survive at higher GRs. DelRasha is highly versatile and offers a range of playstyles depending on what you like to do.
I've tried many builds and prefer the meteor focused builds, though I go back and forth between Shower and the lightning rune depending on whether I need every last bit of damage or prefer the ability to pinpoint hit - sometimes shower just takes too long and is too spread out.
My preference is to run with AW in hand and either furnace or GV cubed, depending on content. The more time I expect to spend running around dropping bubbles, the more I lean towards Furnace; in groups I tend to go with GZ as I spend a lot more time throwing meteors. If I had the option, I would prefer a very good ancient sk with AW cubed, because this will give you higher meteor and bubble ticks.
Note that if EBs overlap you actively lose Woh procs. There's a thread on it over at the US Wiz forums. Also, the big boost of that build is how fast the hydras shoot. EB is fun but is ultimately an enormous DPS loss for the build over Hydra.
The new wizard ring and gems are going to be Season-only? I was hoping bracers and legendary item changes were the season-only items. Ring and gems looks like it will be fun for those of us interested in D3 without being completely interested in clearing as fast as possible at the highest GR (no knock intended to doing so )

I don't suppose that the Charged Bolt is being considered a Primary Skill for the purposes of Simplicity's Strength?
Generator and primary skill are different. Charged Bolt works with Simplicity's Strength, but not Depth Diggers, because even though it's a primary skill, it doesn't generate any resources.
So does Simplicity's Strength boost the Shard of Hate Charged Bolt/cause it to generate life?
Another question: I don't have a Furnace, but I have a decent Maximus. I typically run a 1h SK setup for GRs, but, I was wondering if the top end on maximus might be better on trash for single casts of blizzard while running away. Thoughts?
edit: just tried it myself and it isn't worth it... trash at times was faster but all elites substantially slower. Meh.
I was just going to say... for GRs Maximus is viable, but against elites (where most of your time is spent ..especially the RG, the SK will show its worth there).
For T6, either is fine, elites do not have enough HP to be noticeable.
Have you tried Wreath of Lightning at all? Guess I'm not sure which gem would be worth dropping for it, though!
Wreath of lightning does almost no damage ... Its a minor speed boost when active, you might as well take the Boon of the hoarder gem at least you will get gold and the same similar speed boost.

Probably will be a bit less in solo than Firebirds, but I could see this working better than the current group fb that uses disintegrate. Going to be curious how the bubble that mirror image clones drop interacts with bubbles the player drops... if they can all stack, will be some nasty damage (even at the greatly reduced damage amount).
random question to users of Archon (are there any left? haha): If not using Vyr's, is it always the rune you select that determines your damage type, or is it based on gear damage percentages still?
