Indeed. I remember being so caught up in playing D3 when it came out that I was caught in the same problem. No worries dude, happens to the best of us.
Yeah, barb just seems like too much work now unless you have elite gear. I'm comfortably cruising through T2 with my hammerdin Crusader and a 25% buff on Bombardment damage ( I can pretty much one shot blue packs with that bad boy when I pass judgement on them).
Can the diablofans moderators just finally give in and create a "whiners corner" for people like this? Maybe that would put them in their place. I think most of these posts come from people who heavily utilized the RMAH before it was taken away. These threads rarely existed when the RMAH did.
Why does it have to be goblins? Why couldn't it vary? If we are assuming the portal or whatever leads to one solitary room, I would still go if the room was just absolutely packed with a trash mob (like 75-100 monsters). Go down there, liquidate the place, get the exp, and pop back out. Maybe 1/50 would have a goblin or an E pack too.

I tried re-rolling vitality on a ring to CHD, and 5 straight rolls (and souls) later, I got nothing but varying ranges of Vitality for EVERY CHOICE, EVERY TIME. I ended up scrapping the ring I was so pissed...didn't want to have that piece of cursed gear on my toon.
Agreed. I've never used a diabo on my monk. I thought the character was supposed to be about speed? Shouldn't fist weapons have the highest attack speed of any weapon anyways? And Diabos should have 1.3 minimum attack speed.
Why are we worried about the Crusader being over-powered with 2-handers? Just put something in the Heavenly Strength passive that nerfs damage from 2 handers by X% instead of the movement speed, and viola, a solution that allows you to buff all 2H weapons. The Crusader will still get the benefits of all the other stats, which in combination with a shield with %crit, should even things out.
Perhaps taking a break and going old school (looking for perfect drops) instead of crafting might help. It is tempting to take advantage of all of the new features as quickly and as much as possible, but I've already imposed some restrictions on my playing...i.e. only crafting when necessary, and determining that re-rolling is only valuable if the other stats are perfect.
Man, my barb is crap compared to yours (half damage) and I can still eek out farming T1. As said above, you just need to optimize your build (just made it to 70). Why don't you combine the sword and board passive with Frenzy-smite/maniac and replace the WW with HoTA. I know you don't want to give up the WW, but they nerfed it pretty bad, so why not generate a ton of fury with the S&B passive and frenzy, ground stomp-wrenching smash, and Hammer the Buh-jesis out of those poor souls who are now within striking distance? Bonus if you add Brawler and use the thunderstrike run with HoTA.
I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but I never understood how the Crusader class was treated like the DH/Wiz/Doc. You make a character that is "war embodied" with huge armor graphics and a shield, and you make them inherently more vulnerable than the barbarian? Half the fun of the crusader is charging head long into trash mobs and bashing the sh$t out of everything within reach. Good call Bliz!
