Yup. I'm still using leaching beasts for a long time an it's great for survivability. I'm just wondering, with the serpent and life link do you take 35% less damage? IMO that would be pretty awesome.

You should always max crit damage before aspeed with Paragon, are you kidding? 1% crit damage over .2% aspeed any day.
Yes and No on this. He is doing the bats/fetish build and more attack speed = a hight proc rate to make more little dudes. I went Max attack speed over crit dmg and it's working perfectly for me.

posted a message on Uhkapian Serpent with Life link Zombie dogs
So I found a goodUhkapian Serpentlast night. It says "25–30%of the damage you take is redirected to your Zombie Dogs."

    Mine rolled with 25%.

They I remembered The Life link rune for Zombie Dogs. It says "Your Zombie Dogs absorb10%of all damage done to you."

How do the two work together?
When I get hit will my dogs take 25% of the damage and then absorb another 10% effectively taking 35% less damage?
Will they take 35% of my damage?
Will they only take 15% from the Serpent because they are absorbing the other 10%?

Am I thinking about this the wrong way ?

Any help would be great. Thanks

They have a system for that in place. If after 2 hours no legendary has been found, steadily increase drop rate over time. I haven't gone a single playthrough without getting one. At LEAST 1. sometimes i'll find 2 or 3, maybe this time i found crafting mats instead. It's random what you find but how often you're finding what is considered to be a legendary is pretty good imho.
    YUP!

Here is the blue post on it.

You're not going to go 3 days without finding a legendary, not a mat, a legit legendary slot item.

Bullshit - the loot drop rate sucks now period. It was fine before that first 25% bump up to Rifts. Now even after the 100% bump - it still sucks. I go DAYS of playing 3-4 hours at a time without seeing a SINGLE damn Green drop. None. Its the same crappy trash 2handers over and over.

Its not all Random. This isn't gaming in early 2000s.

They can fix it if they want. Gaming Technology today can assure its NOT random and instead drops follow a consistent flow rate -- there is no reason for the drops to not be consistent for everyone, PERIOD. Why the F*&K do you deserve 5-10 Legendaries during your play, but the next guy/gal doesn't?? It can be corrected if they want too.
I disagree. I have yet to go a night without a legendary drop. Seeing a green drop is not how you should base you're legendary drop rate. People doesn't deserve jack it's just luck. I've hand my good nights and bad, where I find 1 in a night.

It can be corrected? what are you talking about? if everyone got the same number of legendary drops every time they played this game would be boring and you would get BiS gear way to fast and then the game is done. You have to have times where you get a lot of drops and times where you get very little. It will keep you playing for the nights where you are showered with legendaries.

Random means random. If you want a guaranteed 6 legendaries every 1.5 hours then you are playing the wrong kid of game.

Dude why are you wasting your time on this? The drop rate is fine. Do you expect to be fully heard a few weeks after the expansion? Finding good gear takes time. I play 4-6 hours a day and I find between 5-10 legendaries a session. Thats pretty good I'm my eyes. sometimes you will have and luck with drops. Get over it.

it's all random. You could run A3 all day and each run you will find a different amount of legendaries. Theres will never be "if you play this long you will get this many legendaries"

The game would be boring if I found 6 legendaries ever 1.5 hours. Legendaries shouldn't fall from the sky.

Where did he say 1.5 hours. He said a run through act 3.

There are no lies but guys like you who complain way to much over stop rates.

posted a message on I want to try producing "funner" style Diablo videos!
I think it could be funny. I mean you're basically doing a lets play ROS videos [which is fine].

For your video you need some kind of set up in the beginning. If I didn't find your video from this post I would have no idea what the point of your video was. You need something like "Hi this is Druich and "other players name" and here is the first of out lets play the new expansion to Diable 3 ROS". Also name the video something "4asdfasdf" doesn't tell the viewer anything, and it's not very searchable.

    [my experience with your video]
I watched your video and you don't say anything for the first 10 second [thats where you can introduce your channel and video subject]. it's just quite with video of your character standing there. That first 10 seconds is the most important. If you don't get the views attention right away then thats it, they are gone.

Ok so I jumped a few seconds to when you actually start playing. I like how it was an unscripted first run-through of ROS on launch night, that was cool. Unfortunately the funny really didn't come. What I heard was a bunch of guys just swearing, swearing can make something very funny but just saying "i'll fuck that shit up" does not make people laugh. You where getting somewhere when you stated talking about how you would want the reaper on your team.

Then the quick cuts came, good idea again. I was pretty funny when you came to your first chest and said "it's going to be a legendary" and you got a health potion. Then a few more action in game shot and you talk about turning up the torment, you raise the torment and your friend days "I will fuck your shit up" for no reason. You enter the game and you are back at the beginning of act 5, You say "What!" and cut to black. The ending was good. I like the quick WTF and cut.

After that cut you need to talk to your views.
"please like and subscribe, leave a comment below"
"new videos ever [insert day(s)] here"

The biggest thing is the funny. It needs to be there. I didn't really laugh at this. You got close at a few points but your voice overs need some polishing. Talk to the views a bit to? ask them question.

If your going to make your videos jump cuts of funny things that happened in game. Make sure you cut at the right time and on something funny.

Overall it was a ok first try. you Need polish. I'd sit down and wright out what you want each video to be and what you want your channel to be about, it will help you focus on the right stuff when editing the videos. I commend you for putting this up for people to see. It take a lot of confidence and hard work to start something new and show it off. Good luck and I hope it works out.

posted a message on Green beams? Set items? Do they exist?
Green exist. ROS just came out. If you want to be fully gear in a little over two week this is not the game for you. I play a lot and i have found some good stuff but it does't mean I don't have days where I find 1 legendary and or just junk legendaries. You'll get good items you just have to grind.

These threads really need to go away. it's not like someone at blizzard is picking a player and saying "no legendary drops for you' its just random man.

So please stop with the "do legendaries exist" threads…please

I think 1000 all res is ok for T3. I'm at the 1300-1500 range [remember Int give you'd all res] and It's perfect for T3. I know I'll need more for T4+. I'd try to get some more all res but 1000 is ok.

Are you running T3 and having problems or are you waiting to gear up before going it.

There really isn't a perfect number for stats when thinking about higher torments. If you do into a higher one and get rocked you'll just know you need more of either toughness or damage.

Congrats on a good weapon drop.

Toughness is WAAAAYYY to low for 3, I'm a wizard with 526k damage 572k once unwaivering will kicks in, roughly 450k hp and over 10 mil toughness and T3 is doable but takes forever with tons of deaths to champion and elite packs, expect a good 10~20 minute fight for rift bosses with alot of that being running back after dieing and expending all my corpse revives. I'd stick to 1 or 2 until you have better gear.
He's a WD, no one cares about your broken class. Don't compare the two.

Hey now be nice. Yes a WD and a Wiz are very different classes but that doesn't mean someone can't put in their .2$ .

10mil toughness is good and all but not needed to far T3 for a WD. We have pets that can absorb damage for us [if you want to run pets] and other ways to debuf mobs. Running a higher torment is about a good balance between DPS and toughness. If your a glass cannon, you will die a lot and if your a super tank, killing anything will take forever. It also depends on your play style [some people love glass cannon builds and more power to them]

572K damages is good but not the best for farming T3 efficiently.
