Oct 30, 2013The thought that I can finally kill Adria makes me really, really, happy. Especially after reading Cain's findings and Leah's notes in the Book of Tyrael. The new set of Wizard skills and the Crusader class are very intriguing (can hardly wait to play around with a pyro build). We finally get clan support, Loot 2.0 (smart drops are a godsend), a revamped Paragon system and more end game content which all increase replay-ability. The Mystic is probably one of the biggest highlights for me. Character customization and the ability to re-roll stats is simply amazing.Posted in: News & Announcements
Aug 1, 2012As a member of the angelic host, and part of the Angiris Council no less, Tyrael was very limited in what he could do to aid mortals in the fight against the seven evils. By surrendering his rank as the Angel of Justice, and becoming a mortal himself (transubstantiation), he was finally able to act. Those actions also both protected him from Diablo's assault on the Crystal Arch, and made him subject to mortal emotions such as doubt. Taking up the mantle of Wisdom and becoming mortal, has put Tyrael in a position to be killed, thus initiating the Prophecy of the End of Days.Posted in: Lore & Storyline
May 25, 2012Are you kidding? After the first three difficulties and reaching cap, you farm for items in late Hell and early Inferno before progressing through the rest of Inferno. Then of course there is Hardcore mode, and a long list of achievements to unlock. Not to mention that there is a LOT more content in Diablo III than in it's predecessor.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Oh, and let's not forget that we still have 2 expansions to go before the game is complete (that, and the PvP aspect which will be patched in soon). Diablo III will be around just as long, if not longer than Diablo II.
Nov 30, 2011Eldius posted a message on D3 Weak Class System - Blizzard Out of Good Ideas? This thread is rubbish. People, stop nitpicking. The full game is going to be amazing. End of story.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

To answer your question, both. If you keep at it, you'll master the craft, and I'm sure a good number of Diablo fans wouldn't mind more mixes dedicated to DIII.Quote from enkeriaEldius.. Of Diablo themes, or harddance in general?

Mar 31, 2013Zek posted a message on Telling You What is Fun, What is a Good Number for Coop Players, Fan Creation of the Week: David Lines Cosplay, Curse Weekly RouForcing players to play in a way that's fun is what game design is all about. Every game does it, but Blizzard is open about their motivations which only serves to infuriate the people who don't agree with the decision.Posted in: News & Announcements
I think 4 players is absolutely the right number. Any more than that and it becomes implausible for all of the players to fight in the same place at the same time, as we saw in D2. Then you have to balance the monsters on the assumption that people are going to split up, and then groups that cram themselves onto one screen can beat the system and farm too quickly, etc etc.

This should never ever ever ever happened, under any circumstance for any reason. Blizzard should be forced to provide financial compensation for every failed login, its the only language these people understand.
... wtf... it landed on it's edge.

Why are login, passwords, and internet required to play a game that 90% of people play single player?
Because putting huge chunks of game-logic on the other side of an authenticated connection turns out to be a damn effective anti-piracy measure (and no, I don't believe for a nano-second that any of the other reasons given by Blizzard are anything more than a distant second).
Borderlands and Torchlight2 are both imminent (one more so than the other), in the meantime we plays what we gots.
Aug 1, 2012Okay so I've been patrolling youtube videos, forums, and the game itself and a common theme is that people like to say that Diablo 3 is a very disappointing game and that the expectations it had were undeserved and all that usual nonsense.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Diablo 3 is a very good game. First off, the gameplay is extremely well done. Just because it takes aspects of WoW, which is arguably the greatest multiplayer game ever made (coming from a guy who does not like WoW), does not make it a bad game. Just because the map is in the corner and not covering the whole fucking screen does not make it bad. The enemies are very enjoyable and the skills you have are also extremely fun and awesome. Like I finally decided to get a Wizard to Inferno and I realized how much freedom I had compared to all the other Diablo games.
I think that over the course of twelve years of waiting for this game, hardcore fans (don't worry I did this too) made their own Diablo 3 in their head and were very sad to not see their own ideas in the game. I think the story was extremely awesome. Yes I agree that Diablo's taunts were a bit cheesy and Magdha could have been a bit better done, but seriously, who cares? Maghda was a very interesting character and gave Belial a better name. I honestly just wished we could have faught against Imperius -___-
The music is also very good in the game.
The gameplay is very solid, the lore is awesome, and questing/multiplayer is very cool. I don't know why people hate on it so much, but like the old saying goes, haters gonna hate.
Diablo 3 = 9/10

WoW is outdated, filled whit old remains of an old game that tastes like mixing soft drinks
vanilla: coca cola
well... its okay i guess
eww kinda strange but... well okay. feels like when you was a kid and mixed all kind of soft drinks... nostalgia but not the same...
its all new! its grown up! its badass!... until the day after maybe we missed some steps and regerts some stuff we did yesterday.
sprinkle seems just to make it look better then it is else its just grose! but the ice might make it tasty... who knows.
Jul 5, 2012If You base it purely on the fast-paced dialog, then yes - no doubt You're feeling disappointed and wondering. It helps quite a bit when you read her lore journals, while keeping her past with Gillian in mind.Posted in: Lore & Storyline
Still, yeah, the dialog leaves quite a bit to wish for, but that's the thing - that part is really only there to give a rough idea of why we're doing the next step, not giving detailed lore information and explanations. THAT is what the lore books and other things are for.
