Mar 27, 2010Eldius posted a message on BlizzCon 2010 Officially AnnouncedI'm expecting to see beta keys for Diablo III this year, since there weren't any beta key to be given at BlizzCon 2009. The fifth class is a given, and if we're lucky, they just might give us a release date as well.Posted in: News

Jan 5, 2010Eldius posted a message on More Information on Resource SystemsShould have stuck with the universal system, mana. Oh well.Posted in: News
And I agree, the Wizard should have mana. It just feels right, you know?
I'm betting that the monk's resource will be called Favor, or something of that sort. -

Nov 23, 2009Eldius posted a message on DiabloFans Exclusive: Jay WilsonThis is becoming more frustrating by the day. The skill tree system worked exceptionally well for the demo at Blizzcon this year, so why are they playing around with alternatives at this stage of development? They claim that they want to get the game out faster, but do this? If we have to wait an extra month or two, don't you think that Blizzard should at least give us more in-game content to reward us for being so patient? Give us Ureh!Posted in: News
All that aside, this was an insightful interview. -

Nov 12, 2009Eldius posted a message on What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas! If Blizzcon must take place in Las Vegas, I hope they push the date back at least a month (currently, it's too close to Comic-Con), and that they increase the number of tickets available by 10,000-20,000 (for reasons stated in my last post).Posted in: News

Nov 12, 2009Eldius posted a message on What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas! The more attendees there are, the more computers there shall be in the demo areas. If things are managed as well in 2010 as they had been this year, that shouldn't be too much of a concern.Posted in: News
Besides, I'm not suggesting that they go for the absolute maximum capacity, but perhaps 40,000-50,000 would be more suitable considering how many people desire to attend the event (and how many people won't be able to due to the limited number of tickets available). -
Nov 12, 2009Eldius posted a message on What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas! From what I can see on the Las Vegas Convention Center site, the place can hold up to 100,000 people (San Diego's convention center can hold over 126,000 by the way). So why not bump up the number of attendees even more? The way I see it, Blizzard doesn't have to host WWI if they hold an even larger Blizzcon (every year or so), and thousands more can enjoy the Blizzcon experience.Posted in: News

Nov 12, 2009Eldius posted a message on What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!Secondly, why are they capping the event at 30,000 attendees?Posted in: News

Yeah, look where capitalism has gotten our world. Most countries are in debt, and damn near everyone is a selfish git. I'm not talking about the top of tier 1, just good enough so I can kill smoothly, and not die as frequently as Kenny from South Park. Only way to get that kind of gear is to find it, because EVERYTHING is overpriced on BOTH auction houses.

You see, that kind of thinking is the very reason why I can't buy any decent gear. If I were to get a really good drop that I wouldn't use myself or hand off to a friend, I would list it depending upon it's worth, but cap it somewhere reasonable, like 20 million gold. If I used the RMAH, I wouldn't invest anymore than $20 on any given item, and even then, that is still a bit much considering they are digital items that have no existence outside of Diablo III.

Knowledge is power, and he had power enough to mend El'druin. Even if he didn't have much of a fight to put up physically, he should at least be able to defend himself with magic.
