i just came from a meeting with bizzard and i got bad news people they are not even thinking about making a diablo3 untill at least 2009 they aslo said diablo3 is not even a thought right now or in the near future
Please stop posting on these forums. You do not have a job, yet alone work for blizzard. First, your claim to weapons designer/storyline creator is not a job. If your are a screenplay and plot director then you are not on the animation accessories design team as well. Secondly, you would not have gotten the job if you posted this. they would know, they would laugh at you, and youd be back at middle school...even tho u never left
diablo 2 LOD consumed months of my life. it is by far my favorite game ever created. but im coming to a sad conclusion in my mind... blizzard is a company. companies like making money.
world of warcraft has 4 million plus active players and starcraft was the second best selling computer game of all time plus its the national sport of korea...sort of.
diablo 2 was a great game. i take that back diablo 2 was an amazing game, but if blizzard thinks they can make more money through the "crafts" then then they could through the diablo series. it only makes sence for them to continue the warcraft and starcraft series, and let go of the diablo franchise.
Blizzard North no longer has their own building. What's left of it has been moved to the main Blizzard building. For all we know blizzard North could be no more.
Finally, they ended the diablo series with Diablo 2 LOD. The prime evils are dead. the named of the game has been defeated. it would be difficult for Blizzard to make a believable plot for the game that wouldnt sound exactly like the original two. anyway...why would blizzard want more competition for its already successful MMORPG...?
It kills me to post this but id rather accept this now and have one of the greatest surprises in my life when it is announced than hoping for diablo forever and never seeing the day diablo 3 hits the stores.
