posted a message on 3 days and (de? un?)-counting!
I dont want to start an argument, but...

11:59pm is the last minute of the day, and when the clock strikes 12:00am, that exact nanosecond is the exact start of the new day. Therefore 12:00 is the start of the day, not 12:01.

Either way, whether they post at 12:00 or 12:01, we wont know because the site will be down, due to such high traffic. :)

That is true, and gives a little more hope, but unless its on the official Blizzard site, we cant be 100% sure, its real or not.

I'd be happy if all they did for D3 at the WWi was show a huge picture of Diablo with 'Diablo III' under him. I don't want details or anything right now, I just want to know that it IS coming.
lol, dont we all? I was all excited for Blizzcon last year, and i dont want the same thing to happen... I wanna know that for once, in the past 7 years, Blizzard has the Diablo fans on their mind.

    Interesting,

I think it has to keep the top down view, like the previous Diablo games.
But adding a few camera details wouldn't hurt, like being able to tilt the angle a little bit, zoom in or out slightly, and rotate 360 degrees around the character, all while having a 'reset' button.

As for Graphics, I love the Diablo 1 and 2 graphics, and its hard to imagine a Diablo game without them. Im very interest to see what Blizzard has up their sleeves, they havent let me down yet, except for the wait, which ill get over as soon as they announce Diablo III.

I voted Diablo, like GhostZ and others said, he has very powerful attacks, and speed. It would kinda be like a frenzy barb. (Plus he just looks cool!)

Second place is a tie between Andarial, and Mephisto, because those are my two favorite bosses in the game.

I'm not trying to be negitive but, why is this such a big deal? A random person can get together a dev team and make a game that sells like 2 million just because it had the Diablo name...
But its not som random dev team, did you read it? It specifically says 'Blizzard Entertainment, Inc.'

Just like in Korea, Starcraft is VERY popular, Germany, Diablo is VERY popular. The Leipzig Games Convention is much bigger than Blizzcon, and will have a different variety of gamers, not just Blizzard fans. They will have an opportunity to make one of the biggest announcements, at one of the biggest conventions. Trust me, its better to announce it in Germany, than at Blizzcon.

    Quote from "CMHL" »
Hi, im new to this forum. Ive played D1/2 in the past and from reading the original post, D3 sounds...how do i say it..godly? One concern is the atmosphere/feel of diablo. That gothy, dark, evil presence...the erie feel in the starting town etc. Theres def. gotta be a main story quest-line that u have to follow to advance to the nex acts. Nothing is worse than a game with random quests and the main goal is only to grind. Also, people are giving refernces to WoW and wanting it to be a (much) larger game. Along with factions of heaven and hell would there be 1 game server (MMO) istead of the 'create x player game' multiplayer of d1/2? If so then how would acts work? "a new expedition to challange act x is starting in xx minutes" ??? Would the act bosses turn into pitbosses that spawn every once in a while and in order to advance to the next act you must take part in its slaying? It seems a bit odd to have bosses 'respawning'...hell/heaven have infinite resurect spells?

EDIT: In the original post you mention demons disguised as townspeople walkin around (as it sais in lore). It would be cool if these 'false' citizens/heroes could give you 'false' quests, that would actually help the opposing faction if you do it, and you have to decide if its for your cause or not and wether you should do it.

Wow, ive never thought of that, that would really make the game difficult, thats a really good idea, and it would be totally awesome to see something like that in D3...
