Edit: does that smiley face make me look fat?
No, of course not. But me on the other hand...
I agree 100% with Robiwan, that the fans and users on the forums, created the hype, and it would be the exact opposite story if nothing had been done.
Hopefully its really good news that Blizzard has waited all this time to want diablo3.com, they knew there was a community here, and that many fan sites linked to here, so taking the domain early would eventually lead people to believe the game would never come. But waiting till a short time before WWI, they can generate a small amount of hype now, leading up to a possible announcement at WWI. Which is what we all want.:D -

Thats kinda how I feel, why so much hype for this? (Not saying it isnt important, I think its great, but..)Quote from "Shival" »Somehow I am doubting this is all...
On a different, more positive note, I love the new look of the site, and I still have hopes for Diablo 3 at WWI.
Now back to my normal routine... -

lol, dont we all? I was all excited for Blizzcon last year, and i dont want the same thing to happen... I wanna know that for once, in the past 7 years, Blizzard has the Diablo fans on their mind.Quote from "Lestater" »I'd be happy if all they did for D3 at the WWi was show a huge picture of Diablo with 'Diablo III' under him. I don't want details or anything right now, I just want to know that it IS coming. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

To me, it seems like you dont want Diablo 3, you just want another Diablo 2. I promise you, Blizzard will not let us down. Diablo 3 is going to be amazing, no matter how they implement the things mentioned above.
They are not done with the graphics, and im sure they will be more detailed when its released.
I dont think the health globes are meant to replace potions, you will still need to rely on them. But you will also have the luxary of gathering health globes when you're running low on health.
As for the inventory style, Blizzard has said you will be fighting mobs of monsters unlike anything you've seen in a Diablo game to date, and you will be gathering more items than in previous games. The new inventory system will allow you to carry the items you find, but im sure it wont be unlimited. You will still have to return to town during a dungeon to empty your inventory.
All Im saying is, lets give Blizzard a chance, and when the game is released, (or very close to it) if it still isn't what we want, then lets inform Blizzard. There is no need to make "formal letters" to Blizzard so early in developement. They need a chance to fine tune everything on their own, they are a big company, and very smart. I can guarentee they will not half-ass this game.

I just started again, but I kept my characters from a long time ago.. So I have an 86 Frozen Orb Sorc, USEast/SC/NL, I can rush you with. And a 15 Frozen Orb Sorc USEast/SC/L, if you wanna play.

I think if they can keep the lighting how it is, (expecially the orange lights above the doorway), and darken the shadows a little. Maybe accent some of the details in the textures it would be perfect.
But remember, this isnt even in beta yet, they are only showing us a small portion of the game, we have no idea what the rest looks like.

But im not sure where the official Q&A thread is, if there is one...
There isnt one yet, Blizzard will let us know at a later date. (Basically whenever its done, no matter how long that takes)

The master.css file specifically says:
The four hidden words, and respective Numbers are:
Tundra = 04
Cold = 16
Cavern = 15
Icy = 23
Yet some people keep bring up the fact that "Glacier" is part of it, when it is clearly not.
With this, assuming it is meant to be decoded as letters, we get:
04 = D
16 = P
15 = O
23 = W
Tundra = T R
Cold = O L
Cavern = A N
Icy = Y I
With the letters from "Cavern" we now have a "N", which is not included in the phrase "TYRAEL IS LOST", maybe we should reconsider what these letters are trying to spell out?
