Apr 21, 2008necor posted a message on Diablo 3 News WatchApparently Cracked.com has no faith in blizzard either lolPosted in: News
Diablo III is perhaps the most obsessed-over game to never have its existence officially acknowledged. Numerous sites and message boards are dedicated exclusively to a game that's developing into a legend on par with Bigfoot or Richard Gere's poor gerbil.
How much ass would it have kicked?
The Diablo series is what happens when you let red-blooded, meat-eating Americans make a role-playing game. Gone are the androgynous heroes, talking raccoons and quests that revolve around retrieving used panties you find in Japanese RPGs, replaced instead with demon killing. Lots and lots demon killing. Besides Blizzard simply doesn't make bad games, producing literally nothing but genre-defining classics for the past decade plus.
So is there any chance it'll come out?
Unfortunately for Diablo enthusiasts Blizzard North, the division of the company devoted to the Diablo franchise, dissolved a few years back. Several Blizzard North employees subsequently formed their own company and started developing Hellgate: London, a game fans considered a spiritual successor to Diablo II right up until the moment it came out and they realized it was complete crap.

Two weeks ago, Gayardos, the admin of the Spanish Diablo 3 blog - diabloiii.es, reported that he received a certified mail from a law firm by order of Blizzard in which he is told to give up this domain, to redirect it or to transfer it to Blizzard.

Mar 24, 2008necor posted a message on Diablo3.com UpdateI would hate to see this website go down but if it was sold to blizzard to make an annoucement this summer it would be the greatest ever! considering that he has had this domain since 1998 that was way before blizzard probably planned to do a 3 i would guess they gave him some pretty good size of change for this domain. and with the recent activity with other domains getting registered with blizzard, this one was probably last on the list. I wouldnt think they would tell him anything other than "heres what were willing to offer for a domain transfer/buy" and even then they probably had him verbally agree to something. I know thats how Microsoft did it with the owner of Halo2.com in the short congrats if you sold the domain and made some money because thats good news for the rest of us! if not hopefully we see a new nice design and last but not least let us know if you put up a new forum because i would imagine we would all like to join again! for some epic loot runsPosted in: News

That mp3 in the background is me quoting someone from Diablo: The Sin War trilogy, book three: The Veiled Prophet. Those who have read the book, you should go to page 307.
Anyone have this book?
Also look at the Background for the countdown on blizzplanet.com theres a shadow now but i don't know what it is anyone?

We are making as many preparations as possible so everyone is able to find out what happens on May 1. If you miss any of those backup-means to inform you, don't worry ... half-the-gaming sites on the web will most likely be announcing it too in your favorite language. =)
Thats where the half of the web comes from
and yes i know that MD is the owner of blizzplanet
