I agree with the post above that instead of having a dismembered body in a room, have blood on the ground (maybe even dried blood that has stained the ground from past gruesome events)with a note to inspire the imagination of the creepiness and horror that took place. Honestly, the creepiest part of Diablo I was the very beginning when the fatally wounded man lay by the cathedral grasping for his last breath. This definitely aroused my imagination to wonder what what beneath that dark cathedral.

I was recently looking at gamefaqs and I looked up starcraft 2. If you click on each of the starcraft 2 part titles it shows there scheduled release date. Wings of Liberty (Part 1) 2010, Legacy of the Void (Part 2) 2010, Heart of the Swarm (Part 3) 2011. After discovering this I managed to look up Diablo 3 and it has it scheduled for a 2010 release. Is it possible that Gamefaqs has inside information?

Mike dd say they expected 2 games to be released in 2010. This could change maybe? Just false hope i guess.

Thats true. The diablo 1 expansion was made not by Blizzard but by Sierra so they didn't really bring back anything.

I wish Cataclysm didnt count as a game. Its a drug thats addicting not a fucking game.

Simple ranged physical class. They brought back the monk so why not the rogue?

I have been thinking lately. Many people assume that next years releases will include Starcraft 2 (a given) and the WoW expansion (which is unannounced). The first expansion took approximatley 2 years and 2 months to complete and release. The second expansion took about 1 year and 10 months to complete and release. If the expansion trend remains relatively the same the next expansion be due in late 2010 and possibly even early 2011. Burning Crusade was announced October 28 2005 and was released January 16 2007. Wrath of the Lich King was announced on August 3 2007 and released on November 13 2008. If you average these announcement dates compared to the relase dates its approximately 1 year and 3 months from announcement to release. The next expansion has yet to be announced and its already August. This would put it on pace to most likely being released in 2011. This is all just speculation but im just trying to find ways to keep our hopes alive.

Remember the things in act 3 that blew fire and resurrected its allies? Those were witch doctor types i believe.

I'll definately be playing a barb until max lvl. I'll log on bnet and create him (named Bulvox) and play alone until i get a feel for the game. I leaning toward a berserker build right now. I plan to go to the midnight release. I'll probably be so excited that ill poopoo in my pants. Staying up and playing all night is a good plan.

Stomp should be changed to Pulverize. Allow the shield to be used as a weapon (Smite?). Give each weapon class a speciality (Like the Wizards lightning stuns and cold freezes). I'll try and think of more.

Guys, they're doing their best to please us. The new icons are fine. They're dark, and actually have color. I find the D2 icons to be very plain and uninteresting.
