Wasted my entire day hoping for some stupid loot that will never drop.
Not a single set item, not a single class set item, not a single legendary with a special orange affix, not a single good legendary, just a couple souls and gems.
Ran over 50 rifts in T1+, gambled thousands of shards = NOTHING for time spent.
What a horrible RNG based loot system this game has!
A few get lucky while the rest SUFFER!
And this is a daily recurrence!
I'm so frustrated right now I can't even stand looking at this forum!
No trolling here... Have you been to the D3 forums lately? Have you played the game lately? Or are you one of those players that find great items every ime you log in?
Either our accounts are bugged / flagged for bad drops, or D3's loot system is BROKEN : /
Its been over 2 years and they still can't get loot right. No PVP. No competitiveness. No real customization. No endgame. No real choices. Constant nerfs. Slow game development. Negative community. Left in the dark player base : /
Most of us are averaging 1 legendary every 3 hours or 15 rifts.
Most of us will never find a set item we want let alone complete a class set.
No more trading. And no real way to obtain loot except for this broken RNG system.
No more friends playing (all quit)... In game general / clan chat is always negative and repulsive. People complaining in game / forums about how bad drops are... ect
Oh and don't get me started with blood shard gambling, that is a whole new topic on its own.
I can go on and on, but I figure I'll just stop here.
I repeat ZERO set items found! ZERO class sets! Not even blackthorns!
But you wanna know what I've found, 2 handers, Staff, rings, ammy's (THE SAME ONES over and over and over and over)...
Half my friends list (The ones still playing) are in the same sinking ship as me, RNG is NOT RNG!
How are bugged accounts ever gonna find a set item let alone complete a set even with 50k hours played? I know guys that play over 10 hours a day religiously and still have not found a single set item!
This is unacceptable and making the game VERY frustrating to play!
In D2 - Say I wanted a certain set item, well in D2 i could grind a specific area / boss for a few hours until I found it. Specific item locations were amazing and could limit the flawed RNG aspect.
In D3 - There is no specific area to farm certain gear. No certain bosses drop certain items, nothing of the sort. In D3 we can grind for hundreds and thousands of hours and only find crappy 2 handers all day everyday.
Listen to MVP Drothvader and myself and incorporate the successful D2 item specific farming methods.
THERE MUST BE SOME KIND OF A MIDDLE GROUND IN OBTAINING LOOT IN D3!
So I've been farming pretty excessive since the ROS launch looking for build changing gear... And to say the least I'm pretty disappointed thus far.
I haven't had a single set item drop... (only a couple (bad) set crafting plan)
I have found only a couple orange text legendaries, most are just bad higher stat sticks / souls.
I've spent well over 5.8k blood shards on lady Katrina = 0 legendaries / sets.
My question is; with the AH gone, and trading gone, how in the heck am I supposed to find a set item let alone complete a set before I die? How am I ever gonna be able to try certain builds out?
CONCLUSION: There needs to be a middle ground option to obtain gear so people like me who suffer from the worst RNG have a chance to have fun / one day play the build they desire.
Don't you guys feel that the gap between the lucky and the unlucky is too huge? There should be some middle ground or separate option for the players that will NEVER find a set item / decent legendary.
And just because one person finds legendarys every hour doesn't mean the other person does too...
I know several players who find good items every day, and I know other players (who just quit) who grind hours and hours a day and never found anything even remotely decent.

Give us a new way to obtain these items!
For example: Let us craft it! I don't care if it costs 15 - 20 forgotten souls! Just give us an option to work towards completing a set!

Just another reality check of the blatant cruel RNG that some accounts suffer.
Just another reality check enlightening us that a "Middle Ground" is needed in obtaining loot in this flawed system.
Just an eye opener for everyone blinded by "RNG is RNG / I'm geared and find loot so everyone else must too" logic.
