VladDracul posted a message on Diablo III PK and PvPI totally agree with you Djinn. The only people who want d3 to be anything like WoW or even more pussified then d2 already is are the kids who suck at the game, cant comprehend to either go to town or leave the game once hostiled because it is nearly impossible to kill someone on d2 unless they are so dumb they just sit out there, or they are to dumb to find people in chat rooms and make a private game. You people who blow that bad or are that scared, even after blizzard is making the drops go to each individual person you are the minority I must say, there are WAY more pvpers and PK'ers on Diablo then you kids could ever muster up in pussiness ok.Posted in: News

VladDracul posted a message on Diablo III PK and PvPOk for all the people that are crying about TPPK, listen here:Posted in: News
TPPK IS A HACK!!!!!
It is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to TPPK without a hack that auto tp's and hostiles in under like 2 seconds. So thus dont cry about TPPK, cry about hacks and make blizzard do their damn job and keep the game hack free. Dont blame PVP or PK it's not the games mechanic fault that some 8 year old kid has the ability to use a hack online vs you. PvP is fine the way it is now (Even as pussified as it is) the hacks are the thing that need to go which Diablo 3 better do. -
VladDracul posted a message on Diablo III PK and PvPDiablo is the way it is now because of Blizzard. They let way to many kids hack B.net and do little about it. Now if they do their job like they do on WoW and keep Diablo 3 hack free then you don't have to deal with little kids using programs and cheating to win.Posted in: News
If both players have to agree to hostile then there really is no point in PK or widespread PvP at all then it just a horrible arena fight. Its the fact and ability of suprise that makes Diablo so great.
If they add that tab under create a game where PvP is enabled or you can toggle it in game then it could still have a little bit of suprise and probably still work out. They really can't look at Diablo as an only co-op game they to think down and dirty and make this PvP great so it stands out from the rest of the games like the other 2 have.
(Diablo 1 = Hello? Not even knowing hostile, lots of deaths for no reason and lots of fun, they had bounty hunters , PKK's, etc, that game had supreme PvP but obviously a little overboard for most)
(Diablo 2 = Hostile function lets you know people are hostile at you and gives you PLENTY of time to get to town with the added patches that disabled the hostile person to go in YOUR tp or take a WP right away, so no tears blizzard already pussified PvP enough compared to what it was, it can't take much more) -
VladDracul posted a message on Diablo III PK and PvPFact in Diablo 3 everyone will have their own separate drops totally eliminates half the argument right there. People are crying because they lose items well duh you die so what, not like the other player can grab your items when he can't even see them because they are assigned to you.Posted in: News
Other half is its frustrating.. yea so is sitting there hearing a kid talk alot of smack and not having the ability to just say "You know what, you talk alot of smack now im gonna hunt you down and kill you and shut you up" PvP is what MADE Diablo 1 and 2 for me. It adds a realism that no other game brings. The PvP in Diablo is so much more then just dueling its unlike any other game out there. -
VladDracul posted a message on Diablo III PK and PvPI really hope they re look this.Posted in: News
If they eliminate the option or ability to join a game and kill someone regardless of their opinion then I am gonna be very very sad with Diablo 3. One of the prime things about Diablo that I felt put it apart from other games is the fact you had the ability to make your own decision and you could hunt people down and kill them.
Very least they can do is make an option for your character to always be in pvp mode or something, it wont be the same but it will be better then horrible WoW PVP.
They pussify PVP in Diablo and I know ALOT of people are gonna be pissed so they better look into the game more then just a coop game. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

Haha, I have nightmares of what PvP will be like with Teleport strike runed, be as bad as Thunder storming teleporting sorcs in 1.09 of D2.
I just wish since they now want to offer more selections to just make it easier and more like an RPG and let us decide truly how we want our characters to evolve weather they all turn Cookie cutter or not means nothing since Blizzard just gave up and said well here everyone is so and so.

No possible way can a Wizard wield a 2 handed sword as such is out of the ordinary and out of range of their view of a Wizard. How are stats gonna play a part in this, since they are predetermining what a Wizard should have strength/dex/vita. Are they trying to play it off now like a Wizard honestly has the strength to wield that sword?
I am in favor of wielding any weapon I just find it funny that Blizzard is inputting our stats for us but now they are backtracking and saying oh sure the Wizard has the strength of a Barbarian. They should really just cut another corner and put the stat selection back in the game and let us actually create the character we want.

I mean every guy is the same right since it's all Vita regardless no?
On a serious manner, I don't believe they changed any of the % of drops for Non ladder or ladder. I have played mostly Non ladder and just this season of Ladder and it is all the same. Funny tho, I only played this season because items were actually cheaper on Ladder then non ladder.

Also on the colors being messed up try this:
- Change your desktop background to a blank solid color (ie Black)
- Right click on desktop and click on Screen resolution and leave that page up
- Start game with Screen resolution page still up and you colors should be fine.

Guiles special is a lil ridiculous and isn't used that often. Most use his special gauge for EX moves and ignore the ultra. I use the D pad since I have been using that most my life for fighting games, I have a fight stick but I am not nearly as competent on that as I am a pad. In Super Street Fighter 4 tho Guile will be getting a huge sonic boom like he has in MvC2 as another ultra and I am guessing that that will be a BACK FORWARD BACK ultra so it will be much easier to pull off.

Typically how it goes here, select few are for PvP in this site, majority love their PvM tho, but the PvP'ers are pretty headstrong and well it makes for some interesting arguments.

I main Sagat but not because he is over powered, I just always liked his style. I am not one to sit back and spam fire balls either I like jumping in there and mauling you with knees and elbows. Sagats weakness is that he is slow, if you can bait his attacks such as an uppercut and block then he is wide open for punishment, only a low tiger knee is safe the other can be grabbed if blocked. I can play as about anyone really tho so it is cool, we will play a bit. Personally can't wait for SSF4 with Adon and Dudley.

Ok I will, except I fail to see what is wrong with Sagat? Barely used in terms of online play or USA tournaments and just because he is "god" tier doesn't mean anything, a glitched up Ryu can beat a Sagat 8/10.
I think it is pretty fair in terms of balance as everyone more or less stands a chance, just depends on how well you know the game I guess.
Ill use other characters tho against you.

I mean if you don't have the right break points or resistance or damage reduce and you are fighting someone that does, then the odds of you getting 1 hitted are extremely high. There arn't alot of top tier low level duelers or mid level duelers tho so the odds of that happening are alot lower then in high level duels.

On a serious note if anyone has a PS3 they are running Burnout Paradise full game with ALL DLC for only $30. Great game to just pick up and play.

Yea low level dueling and Mid level dueling are great fun as well and a nice change of pace. I tend to make multiple characters around all sorts of levels so I can enjoy every bit of PvP. If you are not geared correctly tho and take a hit from anyone then you have a chance of dying in 1 hit regardless of level.

Me too, I see all this really good characters that I want in this game but I read on the site that not all characters will make it. Which saddens me. Literally shat myself at the possibilities of what they have as far as character selection goes.
