welcome to the forum, Andrew, I know that feeling... needing to be on but something is preventing you from doing so. I currently lost my mother board, I have to wait till December till I can buy a new one. If it was as easy as getting any kind I would do so, but I got an emachine, and it takes a very special mother board, so till then I'm not online playing. My character is saved though, thankfully 2 weeks before my mother board crashed, I saved everything on my system, a total system backup... I thank God. And my HD is still working. I hope that you are on soon. My biggest wish is to be up and running before D3 comes out.

I had to make the name x_Aphrodite_x = ON: gamesurge.net - If you should see a Aphrodite there. She is NOT me, and she is NOT the original Aphrodite - who IS me.

This is a warning to those of you that ARE my friends, or at least acquaintances. I am not too free with my friendships, so you know who you be. I am NOT pleased at all.

OMG! Its just so freaking cool......My Cousin who introduced Diablo to me, showed me this cinematic video of D3 how the game will look, its exceptional! I can't believe It I cannot wait for it to come out...

*smiles gently* When I return Home which will be on Sunday some time during the day I will most likely be on in the evening, I will check back here and add you to my buddy list on Diablo...I need to practice my Sorc... which is only beginning in Nightmare - I got tired of just playing with my Amazon... thought I would try other characters...

My daughter who is 14 also is an avid D2 player.. normally she only plays a Assassin which is her favorite character... I beiieve her characters name online is Leot..... she uses my account to play on.... although I may have to change that soon.. LOL... anyhow...

I'm trying a new player as well, I've lately been trying out a Sorceress, which I've never done before. I've always played a Amazon.

My Aphrodite character has slain Baal so many times over I've lost count... Now I'm more into just helping others to quest and rushing those newbies through the games.

I think I get my kicks off that... they see me and are like

ah well its been some time since I've checked in here, just not really having much time to do much of anything, least of all to play D2.

I had a while back when Elfen and I had first discussed playing the original Diablo; gone and redownloaded it. I attempted to play it, but for some reason XP would just not allow it. I wasn't able to get past Dungeon level 2 for some reason as it would constantly freeze/lock up. So finally I just ended up deleting it after about 10 tries to play. (It froze my entire system which forced me to reboot each time, that gets old and so boring.)

Anyhow, I intend when I return home (I'm away right now on business) to return to playing, so hopefuly I'll see ya'll back in the game.

I had not realized that S.I.C.K. was also on Baldurs Gate. I will have to look into that. I do not have G-Force or Nvidia, but I'm hoping to soon have a faster graphics card then I do now.

Unfortunately D2 is not transferable to other computers with just one CD. At least mine isn't. So that is where I'm going to leave it. Ya'll probably forgot about me, but I'm still around.

D1 comes in the D2 Battle Chest... I still have my battlechest stuff.. the disk is in the box I think.... not certain I'd have to look, but I'd be up for playing online with D1 .. we can play online on D1 right? I do not remember LOL...
