Bagstone posted a message on Patch 2.4.1: START GUIDE for Season 6! (How to be best Prepared & Quickest level 1-70)Posted in: Diablo III General DiscussionWell, with DMO AO build you're basically next doors to the final meta, only switch two items (sword and belt) and you're there. To be honest, we can already tell you with 99.9% certainty that no one will be able to "predict" or "guess" the meta down to something where the change is less than two items.
That's the entire point of what I was saying: play a class you like, and choose your class based on "what do I want to farm TX and bounties with" and not "what am I gonna play on GR80+". If you then find out that your choice really has no place in endgame or you don't enjoy it (Twister wizard wasn't everyone's cup of tea), you at least have a class geared up that can farm TX and low GRs fast, and you can use the blood shards/Death's Breaths to gear up the second class quickly. Prepare your augments but don't use them until a few weeks into the season (to be honest, if you have 10 gems ready for augmenting your gear in week 3 of the season, you're not a casual player by definition).
A meta change can always happen, and we guess as much as we want - and we'll continue doing that, no worries. However, the amount of testing by high-level players on PTR was close to zero (the 4 player leaderboard was oftentimes empty and you could always get into the top 100 there with a GR70 clear which indicates that almost no one was pushing the limits of 4 player meta). But we don't know yet what the final meta is going to be, and if the top players know they might not share until a few weeks into the season (see on the last page where Drahque wrote about the sticky Twisters being known well before Season start, but it wasn't common knowledge until week 3 or 4 into the season).
Edit: Regarding the S6 meta, I wanted to start a discussion about the monk's role - but it seems no one is even looking at the monk forums. Well, here's the thread: http://www.diablofans.com/forums/diablo-iii-class-forums/monk-the-inner-sanctuary/169852-support-monk-in-2-4-1-whats-it-gonna-look-like

Moral of story, they do what they like. I'm really anoyed by this too, but it's allways been like that with them.

Yes, affix, of course.Quote from n3wtonapple»
OK I see. Correct me if I am wrong, are you talking about a legendary affix? Otherwise, I do not see how a blue (primary) stat can be cubed?!

Disappointed with 2.3 atm
I took a conduit in a 65 and took not even 20% of the boss's life. What could have happened? As the Conduit works now? Did 60 and 63 using it and the boss was destroyed quickly. Playing with Barb simply impossible to achieve kill a boss in a 65. So, ALL depends on luck in this game now? Can not create a mechanical using at least some of the brain of the player, something creative, creative items, creative challenges to not get tired so quickly? I was playing, then i got a DC then i try to kill a boss at 65 using conduit (the only way that a barbarian can kill a gr, nice mechanichs grats blizz)
I took rank 50 barbarian with 3 hours of PTR. Now come the next patch, abusers will be paragon 2000 and will not have any competitive again. After all, what sense this game? Be doing speed (usually holding a button or using two skills at most) and get infinitely XP for +5 main stat?
What is the purpose of so much shit from Blizzard?
do you read the patch note before you just jump into 2.3?
here's the patch note about the conduit
Nephalem Rifts
- Conduit Pylon
- Duration has been increased from 15 to 30 seconds in Greater Rifts
- Conduit now deals damage based on your current difficulty level or Greater Rift tier
- Conduit now deals reduced damage to bosses and Rift Guardians
have a nice day
