wondering if someone could whip me up a good scythe pic. google searched and looked at some weapon artwork websites and there are like no good ones, atleast not by themselves, they all have someone holding them or crap like that. if anyones bored and wants to make something cool, just a random thing to whip up quick. or hell if you know a cool 1 on the net somewhere if you wanna just give me a link i'd apreciate it.

Since SICK is a guild encompassing the worlds of Diablo, Warcraft, Zelda, Dungeons and Dragons, and many other fantasy games, I figured it was appropriate to lend some allusion to the genre in which the guild was located, although I of course couldn't be too specific.

Nah, thats completely fine dude. anyways. about the multigame based clan thing. hm after looking at those i realize how difficult it must be to finalize any kind of emblem, flag, or logo. hm i've never played D and D myself so i cant comment on that. but after looking at the others, and considering all of the game itself, i'd still have to say no sword/shield.
as far as Zelda is concerned, at first i thought wow that wont really fit Zelda's theme atall, the swords dont really fit it and neither does that kind of backround, its too dark for Zelda series...then again...i gave it a second thought. in the latest (Twilight Princess) it started to kind of give Link, and Zelda in general, a darker theme, and that you have to become darkness and accept that part of your beastly nature to fight evil and darkness itself. so concerning the newer game, i'd say that backround fits it nicely. if the swords/shield version were to fit any of the games, this'd be it.
as far as WoW and Diablo are concerned. hm i still like the dark crimson backround being more visible without the swords/shield in the way. also, WoW and Diablo both, are multiple races that wield a multitude of different types of weapons, to have a sword and shield backround would sort of show favoratism to a certain race/style. most would look past that but you always have to consider the nitpicky barb or sorc (d2) or elve or dwarf (WoW) who's gunna comment on it.
overall i'd say the no swords/shield fits better for such a vast multigame clan just because it captures the darkness better and to have those icons would/may (to some) show slight favoratism. although i cannot give my entire opinion without knowing all of the games its based upon and having played and experienced each.
where the important matter comes in is, wether the owner of SICK wants the clan, and the theme of everything itself, to be based on there "main game" or a theme and style of his own choosing.
oh and on the "too specific" thing. i dont think you can be entirely specific or perfect on capturing evil or darkness itself. because the essence of evil is percepted different by everyone, what is evil and what is pure is different in the eyes of everyone, even the 2 darkest of demons have an alteration of what "evil" is. then again, thats exactly why evil is so interesting. thats what makes it so animalistic. it has no true form. its ever changing.
the decision of the clans theme should be (and i asume will be) chosen by the owner. for he is the one whos perception of evil really counts in this topic. its his job to choose the theme, that to him, is truely SICK.;)

anyways, now that i see your artwork im amazed, in one hand a little sad i couldnt manage to get your time to work with my clan but at the same time glad you've already found something to work with and from the looks of it you are doing one hell of a job. keep it up dude =).
very nice, i simply love that backround and i prefered the no sword and shield. the words blended well with the backround and you see alot more detail in the backround without the sword and shield in the way. if it is a Diablo clan i would vote for no sword/shield, it seems alot darker...like fading crimson splatter in the backround of an eternal duel...i like it alot:D

I'll let you know a bit of what i want here but much future in this forum is over since people insist on pestering an impatient and short tempered person. I need artwork for characters. I need whole people with armor and weaponry drawn. 1 for me and some of the other leading ranks individually. Also a general drawing of the middle and lower class ranks. They wont be specific for each user, again, just general. I dont expect quite that much devotion from anyone. But, I'd be happy to recieve any help you're willing to give. To the rest of the people here nitpicking on things off topic. please lay off, i dont have the patients for crap like that. like i said before if you have a damn problem send me a personal messege, dont start public BS like that in my thread please.

Ok, well if you would like to help. My areas of contact are in one of my previous posts. I van dend you the history and some of the ideas for the artwork. I assume you mean to draw what you think we want to see based on the material you read and scan it and send it to me. I can do some computer artwork and I have some friends that are medium of skill so if we need to tweak anything that may be possible. However, we wont change anything without running it by you beforehand and getting approval. All artwork will be noticed as yours not ours, we don't presume to take credit for anyones generous offer to help or their work.

i like the PC one better by far, looks like a mix between baal and diablo, which would be really cool if they made the storyline that of the 3 prime evils fusing into one after their souls being banished to an unknown realm so to combine their powers in one being to escape.
i liked it alot, very interesting. i wouldnt include only 1 or 2 types of the characters from the game in it though because that tends to show favorism or "who is the better class". i know its generally hard to fit all in and still make it sound good without dragging it out.
lol sorry dont have WoW.....or the cash to play it every month......about how much is it by the way? cuz ima get a job soon and wanna know if its worth my time to get it.
if i were to be taught how to do graphics and be given the programs to do it.....id happily spend all my spare time working for you......my dream at the moment is to see this diablo3 become somthing amazing and i will do whatever needs to be done to see that image fulfilled.
