posted a message on [Idea] Custom Rifts

I think there should simply be more variety of rift types, objectives to win added. For example instead of just a timer bar and progress in a static way with a boss then done, have a mode that you gotta seek out and kill so many of different types of mobs, or collect x thing and survive while carrying it back to point A.

Kinda combine rifts with bounties, more objective based rifts where you can compete with others still and have fun challenging yourself, with different rewards for different things. Like maybe one can be a crafting rift, where you have to deliver stuff to a npc, and you gotta make it through without dying each time you die you lose points or items if you make it through you get more rewards.

Also before rifts were added i always wanted an endless mode a true endless dungeon...a rift that you completed each floor, and it gets slightly harder each floor, instead of selecting a difficulty, going in and doing it, then exiting and doing it again allow 1 rift where you just keep going down and down and the goal is to see how far down you can go before dying or timer and endless dungeon competition. Some floors are freebies, with gold/vendors on them, randomly. Like that Fate game series (and torchlight)

posted a message on Open Letter against Botting

I have always been divided on this issue, because i see both sides so well, and have been on both sides (legit vs botting). My problem is (and this is 99% of the time the main excuse given) is that dont have the time to play 8 hours a day, or sometimes 4 hours a day, consecutively...botting solves that problem, you just set it and forget it, come back after work and clean out bank, shard, tally up loot, and then go again

Its the ease of the act and how simple it is that draws people in, and once you start it becomes addicting, it starts as a way to solve this time problem, to catch up to your friends you tell yourself, to get all your mats so you can gear your toons..and it snowballs from there, and it very easily becomes a daily routine, and even new toons you level up, the first thing you do is run them through the bot for a night or 2 for gear, its almost like cherry picking and farming specific items and you dont even have to do anything but hit a few buttons and start it up

On the other side of this argument, its wrong and cheating and i fully understand why people/blizzard do not want people to do it, it allows a very unfair advantage, and there's no way legit players can keep up, and these bots and software are so advanced that its super efficient, and they get updates every week, so the line between legit and bot is not really an issue as far as efficiency in farming

I would love them to find a way to ban bots, and proactively ban them, not just in waves would be a good step

And lastly the problem with botting is burn-out...botting is great initially, but once you have botted for awhile you start to get all the best gear, have 1000's of gems, breaths, keys, mats, billions of gold, and then you get to a point where all your gear is ancient on all your toons, you have all side-builds gear, accessories, there's such a slim amount of items (totaling less than 10 for example) that you still/want that now even the bot struggles to give you anything because you have..everything

So it just speedens the time it takes to gear out, max out, and be "done" by quite a bit, what takes months with legit play, when you might play a few hours a day, and not even every day...to 8-10 hour bot runs every day, the gear and mats is exponential, full stash, full ancient sets..and for what? besides ranking up leader boards..there's literally nothing else end game wise to do...so what really is the point in getting to the "end"...and then having it all?

posted a message on anyone else bored/burned out?

I came back to ROS when 2.3 went live, and i have had been playing a lot, enjoying it pretty good too. As i leveled and geared out each toon for seasons though, after awhile i get the feeling of burned out or bored. I mean sure there's always achievements, conquests or pushing the leaderboards, and to some that may be enough to keep them playing

For me though, once i got 4 toons all mostly ancient gear in whatever build that proved to be the best or able to reach gr60, and cruise through t10, i just have lost interest more and more. Its the nature of this type of game, you either are in for the grind and long haul or you do everything up front and then taper off and i think my time is here to just move on for awhile again. I love the game, and have since classic launch (oh what a joy that was...)

So I'm sure some of you are bored, there's literally nothing to do except grind more paragon levels, for that 1% gain in gear as you shard everything else, even deaths breaths i have 1000's of, and that's after i can pretty much level a fresh toon and gear them for t10 within hours, hell my barb i never did a single rift, went from rares to t10 farming in my first rift (thanks to the cube)

Maybe its because its so easy to gear now, gear with the cube makes it so insanely easy, and then shards, and t10 dropping tons of legendaries, once you get a end game build with 3-4 toons, what else is there? the endless grifts for nickel and dime upgrades, the legendary gems

i hope there's big news come blizzcon, I'm going to take a break for a bit, probably head to sc2 for a bit with its expansion next month, i guess its time for a change of games, i see no point in the current d3 game to continue farming more paragon, i've cleared 60, and t10 easy mode on 4 toons, i'm at the end of a few months worth of farming and what not, i guess now is a good time as any.

So who else is bored or changed games? who's sticking it out? is there enough content to keep playing currently?

posted a message on Is anyone else really frustrated?
This thread was to just vent a little about recent changes on the PTR and just the whole of ROS in general. It feels like a roller coaster for a lot of classes, and other classes just have smooth sailing (crusader?) What i mean is that while wizards and wd's constantly have been getting buffs and nerfs, lot of the other classes just get buffs and move on, and still as op as they were prior to PTR. (more changes coming, nothing final etc)

Monks are having a lot of changes atm too, and i guess i am just frustrated that blizzard just doesn't get us, the players that play this game. I feel they just only see the game, and its balance, the numbers, and how it will play out, they dont care about individual builds, gameplay, playstyles, they make changes that just dont make a lot of sense, and if you argue about it, people say oh its a change for the greater good or think of the overall effect etc..i get that..i really do

This game is missing a core of what made d2 so good and played for so long, being able to make multiple builds, and if you geared them right and got the right items they could all do well in whatever you wanted to do, you were always trying to find that few key items that made the build shine, then you created another sorcerer and did it again, making a cold sorc, then making a melee sorc? both were awesome fun...in d3 atm neither one of those is anywhere near as good or effective as say fire or some arcane build, ie 2 builds, forget the rest. Would love to build a melee wizard again.

You can argue that yes it was kinda a pain/worthless to level up several of the same class just to change builds, and it was, our system in d3 today is better in most things in regards to that, but it lacks depth, it lacks the experimentation, the variety, its now all about efficiency/optimal for end game, its not how you get there, its about you are there already now what build do you use, pick 2 because that's all they really give you

Most classes only have a few "viable" builds for t6 and GR's, its the same old builds, sometimes they get a tweak here or there, or a set buff, or minor % upgrades...but essentially its always the same builds, its whatever does the most damage, because the game is so focused on health on mobs, they just keep scaling up...but us players have fallen behind...it will get better with leg gems, and hellfire amulet..new legs and affixes...but these are minor bandaids to the overall problem we have NOW, not in 3 months from now...its the CURRENT game i am frustrated about

The thread with ideas on alternatives to just scaling mobs health into the trillions was a great start, give us something to measure/strive for other than more damage, give us 3 or 4 builds even per class, some have more than 2, others dont...there's no balance at all in regards to potential of individual classes, they could fix this easily, and yet they dont, they rather everyone be the same build, and same gear...but why?

Also frustrated that they give us cool new stuff, then they pull it back, and say its not intended, ie depth diggers and wd/wizards recently, that change was amazing and great for my wd, i was aucutally changing builds and having fun again...for about a week...

maybe they will finally start shifting the game around to alternative challenges, and allowing more builds that aren't focused all on dps, and more on sustained damage and survivability, more class synergy in groups, buffs, something that is also lacking atm, monks are buff bots, people created Zdps build just for that purpose...just to have a different build that is useful in t6+

TLDR; what frustrates you atm in current ros, specifcally about class, class balance and builds?

    posted a message on R.I.P Magic Missile-Conflagrate.
i'll chime in, i was reading through the patch notes, until i came across that wd/wizard spells dont count for depth diggers anymore..a week ago i had switched to a explosive toads bulld for the fact that i got a 93% DD, and it..was...awesome...my toads went from 2-3m to 8-10m! amazing change, and upgraded dps

people forget that not all wd's are running jade and being super op, i still run alternative builds like pets and even the mimic mask build (poison) and i also have a fetish build with the other helm, Carnevil, so i was really looking forward to using poison dart with the DD too, i was going to log on and try that out this weekend...but...no blizzard had to be lame and nerf the fun, of course

WD's arent as op as everyone says, yes we got great mobility, defense, and offense, but our star build is jade, or maybe pets, but jade is really only 1 that can get high up on the GR levels, just because of a 1 button kill mechanic, its pathetic, but effective.

I was all hoping they finally gave wds's another build or 2 that was viable and fun with the DD's, and its funny to because i was explaining to witch doctor chat on PTR that wow my toads went from 2-3m to 8-10+ and they said well DD shouldn't be buffing them, its a bug, it doesn't say wd spells, and i'm like yes it does, it counts wd's free spells too...and they argued that it shouldn't..and I'm like it should! wd's NEED this change! its great...

Flash forward a week or 2...and...yeah...sigh "not intended" I'm sure, well i say screw that, and I'm aucutally frustrated now, cuz i took the time to make that build and it was WORKING and now its back to meh damage again, and more jade runs...*yawn*

blizzard throws us a bone, only to pull it back cuz its on a string, and you hear them laughing, like oops our bad, we didn't intend that, let us fix that for you guys!

posted a message on Will we be seeing a new..
maybe its the wow and mmo player in me, the years of playing that genre, that makes me aucutally like the tiered approach. Reading the arguments made so far, i can definitely see the downsides to such a system and how it relates to d3 and the arpg genre all together. However i think they should have a bit more control/smooth progression than they have had, even from vanilla.

To me, d3's item system has been a mess, and it has gotten a lot better, but it still is kinda the weakest part of the game currently. If i were to design the item system, i would have made blue gear in the beginning of d3 last longer, rares drop every so often, but those rares were really good. Then an even more rare chance of a legendary which was amazingly good, that you only needed a few to be really powerful.

Linear progression, currently you can just literally jump from junk rares pre-70, to straight all legendaries and doing t3/t4 for most classes, imagine a scenario where instead of t3/t4 the legendaries we have now, only got us to t2, like made the progression curve a lot smoother, and challenging while giving us legendaries that aucutally are good, there shouldn't have been so many junk legs to begin with, instead of going all out with 200, they should of just focused on making 100 but those 100 are amazing and everyone will use them for some build or another. Quality vs Quantity.

Blue items are just fodder for disenchant, no gameplay value there, about as bad as grey items and white items. Serves no purpose other than fuel breaking down and enchanting your legendary gear. Rares are in the same boat, as soon as you reach max level, you shed all rares for legendaries, and now we have 2 item types that serve only 2 purposes, minor purposes, fuel for enchanting/crafting, and vendoring for gold.

Ideally i would of liked the gear to stretch out more, and with more variety, instead of 2 t6 builds, because there is only like 2 legendaries with affixes that will carry you, make it 4 or even 6, they could of easily expanded it for every class, but for some reason they decided that pigeonholing us into 1 or 2 builds that were viable for t6 end game was a sound game design, and then make certain items of that build super rare so we were always chasing it, but i guess that's the whole point of the game.

i think gear should of been continuous throughout torment, instead of gear that drops in t1 that is good for running t6 with, they should have divided it up a bit more, make t1 gear a baseline, as you go up in difficulty, so does the gear, lets say a legendary like cindercoat, a t1 cindercoat might have 400 int, a t2 version might have 425 etc...adjust the mobs and challenge accordingly, and yes that would be quite complicated, but i like the complicated rather than extremely simplistic approach they did, but it also makes it easier/casual friendly and other benefits, so its not a real loss.

They could of had things to boost your gear some, in my t1/t2 example, if you got a cindercoat in t1, have some items or an upgrade system that you can use to upgrade it to a higher tier stats, so you wouldn't have to farm it again, in each torment level, at t6 the goal would be to be in mostly torment 5 gear, with some torment 6 upgraded stuff.

Gems the same way, instead of 1 static stat on each, make them into tiers, each upgrade level gives you more stats, maybe combining same level gems together, gives you next tier up or something. The gem system in Path of Exile is brilliant.

There's lots of ways they could of given d3 some depth and variety, but i feel the game right now is just a hollow shell waiting to be filled with new stuff, it just kinda is disappointing that we had to wait 2+ years for it to finally come around.

    /long rant is long

the sad thing is, i have found many rare items in this game, but before i knew what was good or what to keep, I've sharded sunkeepers before, luckily i found another, i sharded my serpent sparker long ago, because hydra sucked till recently, and wasn't a build i was ever going to make....right!? sigh

I've sharded that dagger for wd that makes queen spiders or spiders slow by 60% or whatever, and now I'm trying to find another on PTR to try that out with new spiders, it sucks when you had it in your hands, and then said f it, got to many junk legs, and shard it, then 2 months later..oh look its that useless item in a really cool build, but you cant try it because..you..salvaged..it.../angryface

posted a message on WD - "Something in the Water" Build
this mentality is just gaming in general these days, it happens a lot in wow too, they gotta have a certain Ilvl or certain dps to measure your performance before they let you in group, or if you arent doing good enough dps in a raid, they kick you out.

Its been like that for so long, and i dont like it either. We dont play games so much anymore for the fun and thrill but we play to win, there's to many elitists and people who think they are entitled, and unfortunately the games we have today are setup and built around winning, the rewards and gameplay says play to win get your team, do your best and only the best can be on your team etc.

You add in casual players and new players, to a base of a game loaded with those types of people and the sad fact is the majority is dictated by the minority, when everyone should just be focusing on having fun. Gaming before the internet was the best era, you didnt have the social aspect except for your friends, you played together, in person, you enjoyed those awesome rpgs game staying up all night playing Final Fantasy 3

These days, those kids who were playing back then, have grown up, and become responsible, with families, kids, and cant play like they used to (like myself) so i have to deal with being a casual or not playing 10+ hours a day like i used to, and being told i am not good enough by an addon in a game i enjoy playing.

Thus is life, we are being replaced forever more with a new generation of kids, but at least we can say that we had the best generation, and the best games, they can go enjoy thier GTA 6, Halo 5's...i'll be sitting right here, playing my NES emulator, with Super Mario 3.

posted a message on WD - "Something in the Water" Build
i really love this build, having done this a month or so ago, i used it pretty much as you describe, and its pretty good, its not fantastic like killing t6 on farm like jade currently is, due to that abusive mechanic (in my opinion) but its got a lot going for it, and great alternative to just pets or jade.

the best thing about this build is that its flexible, as long as you have the helm, the sky is the limit almost as to what you can put on your bars, or your gear, i had fun experimenting on what works and what doesnt or just seeing the cool effects i could get with the mimics. This spec is pretty fun visually, its fairly easy to play and its fast.

If they will fix the big croc as you said, this spec would be a lot better, i agree its annoying when you cast put big croc, and it eats things u didnt want it to, but it still looks badass. It also is amazing on single target, on elites, if you get a few big croc slams, with +physical damage build he hits really hard!

I think blizzard has dug themselves a hole with the jade build, because pretty much its either jade for high end clearing or pets, problem is the damage from jade is rediculous and only reason that makes it viable, because now u can 2 hit elites, no other spec in the game can do that,

and if they ever nerf it, they would need a new build to do just as much or almost as much, no other wd build comes close, so basically its all or nothing, but that also leaves us who play other builds doing "pretty ok damage" but knowing we will never reach the numbers that jade does, in 1 button.

This build, if they were to buff bog like make 3k damage, make some huge strides in dps, and other changes, could be fine in t6 and GR's, but i just dont see that happening, they seem to only like having 2-3 builds per class, some only have 2 or even 1

and blizzard seems fine with that, for some reason, has made no effort to fix it or support changes, simple fixes that would make the game 10x better for everyone....but enough of my rant....

    good build, *thumbs up*

posted a message on MM/Conflag with new Depth Diggers on PTR
yeah i am def going to be farming on my wizard on ptr to get those pants, my wizard is kinda an oddball atm, i dont have any set pieces, and never have found any really, i run a full fire, as in andy/cinder/magefist/fireneck/2piece augs (fire on bracers) i have mirrorball +1, and i think i am using TF atm cuz i cant find better, like a woh (good luck right?)

If i got the new depth diggers, that would be perfect for my setup, because i am not using set pants, i aucutally might be wearing the old depth diggers cuz they rolled good, just a stat stick, so yeah def looking out for the new ones

I can do t6, or at least t5, i survive very well, i have crazy good stats for not having any proper wizard sets, never was a fan of the gameplay for arcane, and i originally started out as frost orb, but that spec has been dead for awhile, once i find mirrorball+2 and new depth diggers, its ez mode fire mmm

I use missle as main, and meteor as spender, black hole but i dont hardly use black hole, like i just end up spamming missles and meteors in rift groups, it would be cool if they made a wizard item that auto-casted black hole on target after getting x charges, and have say a 15 second cooldown, that would be a neat affix...blizzard fails at making really cool affixes, not impressed at all by the new ones datamined so far (at least on the seasons only ones...the new updated ones are sweet)

posted a message on I have TF, TMF, SoJ, MoJ and Totd. Is possible a decent pet build?
I have become somewhat of a wd expert lately, been helping other clan members gear up, advice and been playing a lot of t6 and t5 in clan groups, we have done several all wd t6 groups, its great fun.

Basically, there are 3 "builds" that i use, after 1 build gets boring/old or i find better gear, i switch to another, and play it for awhile, repeat. I have a pet build, a dot build (jade set) and more recently a badass poison build involving the Carnevil mask (your fetishes shoot poison dart every time you do)

Pet build - Jerams, Tasker and theo, zuni set, aughilds 2 set with rrog, toss in SMK (super rare) TF (kinda rare too) or Doombringer, its flexible, i've even used gidbin (spawns a fetish on attack) and flayer (toads now target a mob and explode twice)

-I've ran just about every variation of builds with pets, as fire, and physical, with and without TMF, and with various weapons, TF, Doom, i dont have a SMK yet, currently I'm running a flayer fire build using fire toads, fire dogs, and fire garg, and for added fire flavor, fire runed Locust swarm

Fire is a much more flexible build to run, than physical, and they both do very respectable damage, my big dog from TMF crits for 50-70m+, no other attack or spell can hit that hard on wd other than full jade bonus harvest, but that's the point of that particular set/attack.

I like using fire skull with roll the bones for filler, plus the fire theme, it all is fire, except for pirahnado, wish there was a fiery explosion type attack for pirahnas, or something

anyways as long as you are having fun, and enjoy the game, you will get there eventually

20 hours since last reply...but i just wanted to say thanks for the constructive feedback, i tend to be a bit harsh on initial rants and raves about something i am passionate about, and i always come out looking like an idiot lol (/sigh)

now as far as my dh goes, i guess i'll switch to fire, and all that as you said, i am well aware that i am not optimal spec, and i am also aware that ss isnt very good, its just that for me, the dps that i have was good enough for t4, and i enjoy the gameplay of frost arrow and dual wielding, its not always about efficient/optimial builds, and that i guess is my main problem...

I KNOW i can make my dh better and be doing t6, i have resisted doing all that, why bitch about something that i cant fight? because at the end of the day i found the style/build that everyone has to roll in order to do the best you can, isnt really appealing to me, and yes i could get used to it, but just think my rant was saying that it sucks that the underlying problem for all classes in d3 is that they are pidegonholed into a specific gear/build in order to be on top or do T6 optimally

Hopefully all this mess will be cleared up some in 2.1 with the class "balancing" they are going to be doing so that all classes can compete in tiered rifts equally, but I'm not holding my breath, frustrated that there are just a few game designs/decisions that are holding back the game, and powerless to change it, or get through to the dev's to do something (1000's have already tried).

ok well i am open to debate on dh as a class, sorry if my big post was a bit hastily written i just went on a rant, that after looking it over i agree isnt all true, but still at its core dh just isnt nearly as good or great as people think/portray it as. compared to other classes

the armor change, i wasnt aware, i didnt do my research that armor mitigates everything, i thought it was just physical, ok my bad on that one (so this will be a big upgrade)

well when i say dps i am talking real numbers i see when i play classes, its kinda confusing maybe, but like for example, right now my dh is sitting at 1.9m dps with ss, just over 1m without ss, ok so with 1m dps you kinda think they could do some great dps with basic shots/spenders/builders? everything i have tried, and i've tried every shot, barely hits like a wet noodle, even with full as/crit/hit and i have dual danettas, and my gear is pretty good, not incredible but pretty good

My crusader on the other hand only needs to walk into a pack of mobs and hit 2 buttons and melts elites in t4/t5 in seconds, rinse repeat, on my dh i have to shoot and kite forever to kill 1 elite, using my frost arrow build, my frost arrow is almost fully upgraded, i have +45% frost arrow, and 40% cold i think, my frost arrows do 10-12m crits, without kridershot though i can only empty so much frost arrows before going oom, and using some skills yes i can refill it fast, but the majority of my gameplay on dh centers around kiting and waiting for resource and also waiting for ss to "kick in" again with more crit...the more you sustain dps the less crit you get, after stop dpsing, it fills back up this is best way to explain it

So in the middle of an elite fight i start out blasting the hell out of them with great crits...then by a minute or so in, my shots are doing 300k, maybe 1m, the difference is immediate, the next fight ss is back up and pew pew great...the up and down always bugged me

Now without ss, the damage is consistent, but the damage is nerfed a bit, literally by 1m dps, thats quite a bit

Compare that to my crusader who hits 10-15 with justice, blessed hammers consistently 8m with fire build, and he only has 800k dps or something...AND he can tank and be up in the fight only dying if he takes multiple arcane beams, or some kind of bad accident, my dh with 1.9m dps is barely there, and with ss, does so much less than my crusader, with less dps, 1.9 sheet dps and thats not including the 40% cold, 45% frost arrow etc, and +elite % from soj...etc etc...widens the game even more

the same scenario goes for my wizard, 1.4m dps, drops everything in seconds, my WD can kill T6 Ghom in full pet build in 15 second or less, i tried that on my dh? took MINUTES of constant running and gunning...no comparison there

if you say full marauders and proper build can compete with the other classes on t6, i've heard they can...but it sucks that you have to do SO MUCH more to get there, than any other class, thats what bugs me the most, DH go from struggling to OP in just a few key skills/full set of marauders, its dumb that that gap even exsists, for any class

havent read every comment on this thread and my dh was my main all of vanilla and some of ros, i abandoned him awhile back because other classes were just far superior in every way, my opinion, of course. I switched to Wizard, night and day difference, they have high dps, without needing gimmicky tricks like ss, they have high survivability, with passives that aucutally are worthy of slotting vs just all dps, or ones that fill niche things like my dh does

They also dont tend to die to a whiff of elemental damage like dh does, due to low resists (but that's the players responsibility right?) I can farm and have fun on my wizard, solo or in groups, on my dh i die the most by far, constantly, and maybe i do suck, its possible, and probably.

but fact is, i hated dying so much on my dh, because being so fragile, and their dps isnt mind blowing even when all out dps, isnt even a fraction of what i can do on my wd, wizard or even barb, and have to be geared to the teeth to get there on my dh...wd just has to have basic set items and pets to cruise through t4/t5, with jade and end game specific items they got t6 down...dh? not at all...best they got is the marauders set and sentry build etc, and it takes far more work to pull off then wd or wizard to do

From my rant u may think i hate dh, not at all, i just never thought they were in a great spot, they are dead last for surviabilty, by far, in every way, last on dps, overall despite that you can gear out a dh and have amazing sheet dps, and if you stack enough elemental damage can do some decent damage...

not uber damage, decent...classes like crusader doing 10-15m crits, with basic builders, let alone spenders, and some builds doing well beyond that, and with half of my dh's dps i hated being trumped by every other class, with half the effort taken to dps and survive, wizard and wd both have it ez mode, literally, as do crusaders

DH has one of the biggest skill caps, always has, because you can die literally in a second, from anything, you always constantly have to move and be smart, its their main attraction, mobility and being ranged etc, but at the cost of being extremely glass cannon, my wizard can face tank and take hits, my dh? 1-2 hit t4+, and even if you stack all resist to 1200+, and you sacrifice everything dps wise to do it, so now, you get 3-4 hit? and still 1 hit by arcane beam/frozen pulse etc

1 arcane beam, toast, 1 frozen orb, done, etc etc, even if you TRY to be tanky/toughness...still fall short vs wd or wizard or any other class, i got tired of trying, and have just been full dps, and accept that i will die a lot. The style of kill or be killed just got old. I tried to stick it out.

Wizards double dip for intellect, gaining all resist, i always thought that they should do that for all main stats not just intellect, how much better it would be for all classes to tie mainstat to all resist, would make DH MUCH much better to survive with, if you look at all the DH gear, or even dex gear since monks share some gear, all resist is hardly ever an option, in order to do good damage you gotta do as/crit/hit and then on top of that, you need cdr on the t6 build...

where does all resist fit in there? all the gear for builds has always been for max dps, you can socket all resist gems, sure, but losing 840 dex is a significant dps decrease, and if in 2.1 they tie armor to dex, be even further a loss survivability wise, you'd gain 350 all resist, so now if i slotted all resist gems, i'd have 700 all resist total? my wizard has literally double that, @ 1400+ all resist, 1000 of which is from int, if dex was tied to all resist, then my dh could get 1400 all resist too, making an insane difference in every way.

Dex to armor will make so little difference, if u are going to get 1 shot, u are going to get 1 shot, or at the very least, having 10k armor, you may lose 90% of your health now, instead of 100%? and isn't armor worthless against elemental damage? so again 1 shot by arcane beams, frozen orbs, etc.

flame, hate, tear my rant apart, do what you want...wont change the fact that DH just does not live up to my expectations, I've found other classes to play, and still enjoy d3
