posted a message on Crusader block (PTR questions)

Blocking, the ability to reduce the damage by not being hit but getting it blocked and thus reducing its damage is CAPPED at 75%. However, you can stack it higher and the Justice Lantern (ring) buff will go past this 75% threshold.

could use evasive fire with the focus rune and use an iceblink gem to proc the bane of the trapped / cull of the weak bonus, which is what I used to do when I played UE6- works well with t7 :)

I do consider it silly that at the top of the play that d3 offers its very often better not to play (close shitty rifts/skip yellows/blues) rather than deal with whatever gets thrown at the player. Sure it would be nice if it was always worth going through all the content rng throws at the player, but as some have mentioned - one doesnt have to go through hundred of keys and waste 95 of them by closing them within 30 seconds of going in. Its their choice to do this fishing and ultimately raging because of that. And wherever there is any RNG involved in a system, getting the max out of it will always be just and only up to the RNG and number of attempts. The problem with D3 is simply that there is way too much of the RNG. Me personally - RNG can go kiss my ass, i dont want to spend my time in a game doing things that i dont consider to be fun and doing things that are not decided by what i do but by some roll somewhere on a server 800 kilometers away.

The whole go in and close the rift after 30s is bullshit imo, I had plenty of rifts where the first map was bad but short and the next floor gave you an instant conduit with huge mob density that easily gives you tons of progress to make up for it.
Of course you'll have to close some rifts if you want to compete for top ranks, but then again you are playing a RNG game that has a variance in what it throws at you... and you want the top spot? Well guess what, you'll have to be lucky to some extent.

Depends on your class, build, etc. Some builds are way fishier than others and generally speaking, if you're having a bad streak - just do something else and come back another night.

I sometimes get back to back horrible rifts and after 3-4 I just log off and come back another day, usually to find a different RNG layout. It happens. It's a RNG game.

Though to be perfectly honest, 62 shouldn't be a level where you have to fish like crazy.

posted a message on "Raid" mode in Diablo 3?

so... you want GR with 5 instead of 1 boss, that drop more loot corresponding to your clear times, are less RNG based (which will never happen in diablo, but keep wishing) and also drop vanity items (e.g. china real money stuff)?

Not sure what you are trying to accomplish, but diablo isn't WoW and this is way too similar to GRs, just with 5 bosses. And since it's not WoW, you can expect to have 5 random rift guardians as bosses, so it's basically "oh yay those 4 perditions didn't bother me until mega uber cold snap had his way with me"

(If you want to fight multiple bosses, do uber runs after a TX rift so you have a rift, a RG, and 4 "harder" bossfights)

Last time I checked the leaderboards were full of people running Helltooth Bears up to GR69 or so, but up there it usually IS fishing for the right rift.

You also might want to look into using the new season only mojo with the reduced damage on first hits, which helps tremendously with survival (talking about little zombies hurting you).

Using the actual 13.12 driver, which works for me. Asus HD 6990, and make sure to uninstall the driver first

Neither the various fixes, nor the beta patch fixed it for me. It loads fine, but the loading screen is stuck. Ican attack, move, everything, but I have the loading screen on top, so I don't see it, but other players confirmed me moving and using skills. It also happens in act5, path of the drowned if you walk to the top right part of the map, as well as just randomly during rifts.

It's nice some people get a fix, but I hope they can remove this issue once and for all

most likely not, since the actual damage happens once you finished the teleport.

posted a message on question about blessed hammer limitless rune

icebound is kinda bad since you can't roll +cold damage as a crusader and the CoE ring does not have a cold cycle for crusaders. I would love to use that rune, but I can't see this happening without the innate ability to get a coldproc for CoE, BUT this probably won't happen as it would change it from a 4-element cycle to a 5-element one (which would nerf CoE as a consequence).

thunderstruck is decent, but limitless effectively doubles the amount of hammers (and thus damage) you do - thunderstruck's 60% weapon damage is nothing compared to it.

posted a message on question about blessed hammer limitless rune

    1) each hammer can only hit each enemy once, while the limitless hammers can only spawn a new one once ("newly spawned double hammers" from limitless can't double and also hit each enemy only once).

    2) haven't tested this extensively, but from what I saw, you need the non crits to be from X different cast - e.g. you can't just spawn one hammer that hits 10 enemies or something like that

    3) not sure about this, but I assume it takes the proc coefficient into account - which isn't that high for hammers. could also be that per cast you can maximally proc it once, so per 1 hammer cast you get 1 heal.
