posted a message on [Guide] 2.1.2 T6 Firebird Wiz Max Efficiency

Basically it's worth it if you play with devastator+firebird eye (high fire % bonus, bonus from cindercoat is relatively small), not worth it with a 2hander. If I remember my calculations correctly, switching from ancient firebird legs and almost perfect cindercoat into hexing pants would give me a ~6% dmg boost. If you don't use glass cannon or force weapon the boost is even higher.

Doing something else than adding a socket to a weapon with ramaladni would be very cool indeed. I dont even play that much and have 11 or 12 of them laying in stash (ok - lots of luck) and well, being useless, as even on all classes I cant find enough good weapons to use them up. Rerolling your way would be very frustrating though ^^

The complaints are valid and his response was to Holyrage, not Spiralphoenix, at least I think so. I too get frustrated when I log in to do some grifts sometimes, only to spend a lot of time doing trials, and then having a story like this one: 'ok I have 3x 42 keys, lets do them. These rifts rock, finished in half time, neat. Lets do these 45 ones. Wait, what? Winged assassins only elites? Thats nice. Jailer/vortex/etc near the entrance? Yay.'. I could list things that are really stupid and annoying in this game too, but overall - everything has been said already and maybe blizzard will decide to do something with these issues someday. They improved this game a lot already, from an 'unplayable piece of trash the only way I can enjoy is by selling items I get for real money' it once was, it actually became a seasonal fun (by seasonal I mean 'play for a while, stop for 1-2 months').

posted a message on DH bug - hardcore players, be careful
The title may be a bit misleading - I die to dcs at least once every few hours, only play softcore and think hardcore is mainly for masochists, I think knowing about this bug is more crucial for hardcore players though, thats where the title came from :P Didnt know it happened on other classes though, my main is a wizard and Ive never noticed this bug on her.

I dont know if this is a well known bug and its only me who has just learned about it by dying, but it happened to me twice already and I think its worth sharing. When you collect a shield pylon when awareness has just gone off, the shield does not work correctly. Im not sure if it doesnt block damage at all or just from some sources, but still, you can die in the 'invulnerable bubble'. I even remembered to take a ss as proof! ^^

posted a message on Vile Ward question
Hello, I just started playing my barbarian, an ancient raekor chest dropped and I would like to know for sure if rerolling vit into furios charge is worth it. My question is - how does 'furious charge dmg %' stack with bonuses from vile ward? Is it 1 + 0.15 + 0.35 for every enemy hit, or (1 + 0.15) * (1 + 0.35)? I searched for the answer a bit but couldn't find a definite one, and if it's the first option, I see no reason to reroll 645 vit into 15% fc dmg, especially since I have big toughness issues in grift ~40.

I wanted to spend half the afternoon crafting and minmaxing weapons, crafted 2 sunders, both ancient, one was very bad and the second one is

Really didn't expect to be so lucky, especially since I've been looking for a second unity, immortal templar relic and furnace for last ~350 plvls.

Another thing is, would it not be much more efficient to try and craft an ancient Sunder? From what I remember blizzard doesn't take attack speed into account, and neither does hydra (this one is going to change though, I think). I made some calculations and it looks like an ancient Sunder with good, but not best, rolls is going to be a much higher dmg boost over an ancient devastator+firebirds eye+magefist instead of firebird gloves. For comparison - a good ancient devastator gives me ~15% overall elemental dmg increase over my very well rolled Maximus (1.15 aps changes to 1.2), and a good ancient Sunder gives an almost 40% one (1.15 into 1 aps). EHP is a bit lower though (4% increase instead of a 20% one, in case of my gear of course). Isn't it much better for a fire wizard to have a slower but much harder hitting weapon? I think I'm gonna try my chances with 2h instead of that puny devastator tomorrow ^^ With Maximus I have 91% fire dmg increase, so another bonus from devastator/eye/magefist doesn't do that much.
