I am planning on putting 4 ists in a monarch to get 100% MF. However, I was wondering if it is possible to put 4 sockets on a magic(blue) monarch with magic find mods. Is it even possible to have magic find on a magic(blue) monarch?

Thanks for all the criticism. I have played Torchlight and it got boring really fast because it was the same thing over and over.

I guess what I had more in mind when I was thinking of an infinite dungeon was that it got too hard so that you could not get to the next level. For example, even with the best gear and a high level you couldn't make it past level (whatever number, 5 or 10). Therefore, there would always be the challenge of making it past a certain level as a way of comparing one player to another. I think this would provide some sort of competition with PvM in the form of bragging rights instead of just PvP.

Also, I remember reading something about timed dungeons from one of the demos at a Blizzard's event. I know this is getting along the lines of achievements, but there is also the possibility of seeing how many levels you can clear within the time limit. There can even be an increased magic find or gold drop for this time limit. I am just throwing out some more ideas, share some if you have them.

What if Blizzard created a dungeon that had an infinite number of levels? As you progress through, the monsters would get more difficult, but the rewards would be better. Also, as a requirement to get to the next level, all monsters would have to be killed. If they do have full immunities in Diablo 3, this would create an extra challenge to get to the next level, but it should be worth it. I'm not sure if this has ever been implemented in any game, but I am interested in knowing if it's a good concept. The only thing I can think of that would be a problem is that this would be the only place where people would magic find. There would be no need to go through the storyline unless there was a requirement to get into the dungeon like killing all of the act bosses. Please share your ideas and let me know what you think.

There should be like a grand master item set based on each char when you reach the last act or get to lvl 100 or so. It will start as a quest, where you have to find a map that shows the location(random) of your character's set items. The special thing about these sets is that they dont give you any bonuses exept armor rating/damage and such, until you acquire the whole set. Also you have to keep the items that you find on you until to get all of them. If at any time during this quest you drop one of the items you forfeit the quest and therefore the set. Once you get the entire set, then you can wear parts of the set.

They could improve the mercs by letting you pick another characteres after you get yours to fight besides you. You will have him through the whole game and he will have a skill tree and stats to upgrade. It would be like playing with two chararacters at the same time, except one is your merc. If you want you can create a new merc to replace your last one, and it would start out at the level of your last merc. They should be fully equipable and you should be able to pick a few skills for him to focus on, so he would actually be worth having. This would especially benifit sorcerors, because they could always have a barbarian to take the hits. You should also be able to select if you want your merc to be defensive offensive, or to aid the party.

I think fighting the bosses by themselves is too easy. They should add more minions like when fighting baal, but send them in while you fight the boss to make it more difficult. That would defenitely make it more interactive instead of just giving everything you got to one guy.

    1) I liked the idea of the different classes when you level up, because you can limit people to certain areas based on the class they're in. I'm not just talking about normal, nightmare, and hell, but subclasses between acts.

    2) Another idea i had was, instead of adding another merc, let you play two of your characters in the same game. There would have to be a limmit to level differences. It would be interesting to start out with two characters to allow you to pick a skills that complement each other. Of course you could play them separately, but you wouldn't have to worry as much about be able to use class-specific items.
