posted a message on Akkhan's 2.2 build 50+ Viable solo?

Rolands is the only real progression set in terms of solo play. Heck even zdps builds use it because of the buff to sweep. Akkhan's still is better for speed farming t6 from what I understand.

posted a message on How can I make this build better?

I'd honestly need to see your bnet character page to really know what's going on. Just the gear list doesn't help much. There are some gear things I'd change, but a lot of that can fall into the "still working on that" section.

Yea, the Furnace is a bit low for an ancient two hander. For comparison sake I have an ancient Maximus and Grandfather both sporting 4.3k

You can set foreground and background fps to w/e you want. Background fps is for when the game is minimized and it should be set low since you don't really need to be rendering the game while you can't see it, foreground fps is for when it is the active window when you're actually playing and you can either leave it maxed out or lower it to prevent your graphics card from having to render frames you won't see.

There is no such thing as "best" graphics settings. It's all a balancing act of how much quality you want vs performance so just tweak the settings and find what you like most. If you don't already know you can press ctrl+r to get an fps meter in game.

so whats the BEST fps i can have for my pc to play the game the best way?

You can force Ambient Occlusion for D3 via the NVCPL. I'd recommend doing that since it adds a lot to the game visuals.

How can i do that? whats NVCPL?

    and thx guys for helping..

Best FPS is based solely on your monitor with the hardware you have. If you have a 60hz monitor, which most people have, you can hit 60 fps @1080p with everything maxed. My PC which has a GTX 680 and a i5-3570k (OC'd to 4.2ghz) with a 144hz monitor can run the game 1080p maxed settings at 140 fps.

I always forget Asus came out with the 15.5 inch laptops. I use a 27" monitor at home and always feel like a compromise going to the 17" of my G74VW. Which is probably why I always push the G75s over the G511s, both are great laptops, with very small power differences, a GTX 965m in G75 vs a GTX 960m in the G511.

If you are really looking in the 1k range, I really do recommend looking into the Asus machines. You can usually find them on display at Best Buy so you can "sort of" play around with them and see if you like how the keyboard feels and see how the screen looks. Sometimes people don't like the "anti-glare" that comes with these laptops.

I personally prefer the Asus ROG series laptops. I have G74 series with a GTX 660m in it and it runs diablo at 1080p with most setting at high except for a few at 60fps. The newer RoG laptops have an even nicer graphics card, stronger proc, and larger screen for around 100 bucks more than the Lenovo Y510P. The biggest problem with the Lenovo above is that you'll notice it's age quick.

You won't find a reliable gaming laptop for under 800 (sometimes you can get something that can cut it, but won't blow your mind), but honestly you should be looking at the 1200+ range in price.

Just looking over the specs now makes me want to get that laptop I just linked, thing is nice...

posted a message on Blizzard is gonna get stamped as maker of casual easy games.

Whoever said they were only giving new gems this season? I'm pretty sure there is a blue post saying that there will be Season 3 legendaries. Not all the new items coming in 2.2 are going to be season only but there will be items like the other seasons.

Blue post here states that all legendary items are dropping in 2.2 on PTR, but isn't going to be that way on live.
