Apr 3, 2014maxf posted a message on Back to my good old monk, need your help dear monksFor T6 you're still going to want a good amount of life - but resistances should be a top priority. I have about 1300 resistance to all elements and 400k hp. My sheet toughness is just about 10mil. (I am not ready for T6.)Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
I'd recommend ignoring a lot of sheet damage. ROS seems a lot more built around +XX% elemental damage. With 800k sheet DPS and +100% lightning damage I feel like I am just destroying things on T1-3. Shard of Hate procs for 6-8mil are nice...

this is nothing new. when the game was first released I did nothing except farm Act 3 resplendent chests. I choose not to do this simply because it's boring. I've tried it, and found about 2 leg in I'd say about 20 runs.Quote from Xenocow
The new way to play D3.... run around like a Retard open Chests.. LOL

Hats off to Blizzard, they released a update without destroying their game servers. Everything at least worked on launch...
From the looks of the other posts, I guess I'm the only one that felt VERY ripped off?
-Playing through Act V felt great until I beat it...No movie cinematic at the end!? That is garbage Blizzard? All you get is a shitty 'Congratulations' screen...
-The only thing they really implemented was a new game mode, and a lot of fixes (drop rates, gear stat updates/life steal removal etc etc)
-They removed the Auction House (a shitty idea to begin with that they were pushing as a huge advantage in the new patch). I'm sorry, but removing a feature that you thought (incorrectly) would be a huge innovation to the game is not 'expansion feature' worthy.
This expansion simply feels incomplete. We'll see what happens in the coming months when they release the additional features.
Mar 31, 2014In terms of gearing choices for a SC monk where do you rate gearing pieces with this new expansion? I have put in some pieces which I think are current BIS, but I am curious as to what everyone thinks...Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
OH-Shard of Hate
Also, the set bonus for 4-peice Inna's is incredible (gain the base effect of all four Mantra's at at all times). But I feel like the procs from tgod and gyana are too good to pass up. (Inna's as a group supportive monk is probably the way to go.)
Mar 31, 2014I have been playing a lot of T1/2/3 and I honestly don't see much of a difference between the three in terms of drops. Difficulty does ramp up pretty heavily on T3 and I get rekt on my monk if I'm not careful by some elite packs.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Mar 28, 2014I killed a keywarden on T1 yesterday and got two keys from it. How lucky was I? I haven't returned to farm the rest, but it sounds like I may still have a grind to get the last two...Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

You have no other items granting you IAS. I'd spec your build around not needing IAS and just roll with all the crit damage you can get. That may change down the line, but with your setup I'd take +32% CHD over +6% IAS any day.Quote from Adrenalined
Any particular reason as to why the IAS? Would I not be better keeping it on there to re-roll the CHD? I know that I would in theory lose that 30%, but I could have a net gain of about 100% right now and keep the IAS. I could increase that 100% by more assuming I spend the money on upgrading the gems and get the pattern.Quote from maxf
Any weapon without a socket is garbage. Re-roll for that socket, or it's a bust.
EDIT: Drop the IAS...
EDIT: Keep in mind you have a 32% CHC...that's one of your higher stats. Take advantage of that and go +CHD. Get more CHC too if you can.

Did you craft your Hallowed weapons from the lvl 60 recipe and they scaled to 70? Or did you have to find a new recipe?
Mar 27, 2014I had this same problem. One tip I found VERY helpful was to:Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Select 'Public' game from the settings menu, and then browse the acts. At the top of each act you should have a titled 'Act X - Any quest'. If you don't, that is the Act you are missing a quest line in. Good luck.
