Well the biggest issue I think most people have with the idea of hostility as it stood in D2 was that people would basically harass people who didn't want to participate to the point where they would make u quit ur own game out of frustration.
I see a lot of people on here who think that it wouldn't be abused if they brought it back and that game makers should be the only ones with the option. Well that also would mean that d-bag players could host a game claiming it was an MF run or w/e and then flag and kill people who come in. Same problem just a different delivery. There is no way in hell that blizzard is going to implement a hostile system back in to the game. If they did then the arena system wouldn't need to be there.
Yeah this is 100% related to MoP. If you look on the warcraft facebook there is a silhouette of the pandern female and says "She’s on her way -- March 19"

... Simply put, this will NOT be the case. I would bet Lance Armstrong's remaining nut that someone will hit level 60 in the first 3 days of this game hitting shelve (if not much sooner). Are you telling me that they are going to implement the entire pvp system in a matter of a few days? No. It will be, at least, a month or two after release, before we get to experience the PvP system--if it were any sooner, the devs would simply just push the game back a few weeks and call it good. It's clear that they are very unpleased with the current state of their PvP system, and I, for one, am bothered by this. They have been developing this game for AGES.
I'm not going to be a big PvPer [never have been], but I find it laughable that many of you guys are 'excited' about this news. Will the game be out sooner because this delay? Sure. Will the product be nearly as good without PvP? No. I understand it sucks waiting, but releasing a game without all it's major system intact seems like patchwork.

I don't think there will be at first. But as with any game that has skill point allocation there will always be a "better" spec then the rest. And because of that I think the game will eventually have cookie cutter specs.
They removed them from the game, the only ones that are liek this are quest items that are needed. Everything else is droppable/tradeable now.
Thankfully. I was really kind of unhappy with the idea of BoP items in a diablo game when they announced it. I am glad that they came to their senses and went back to the way it should be.
I really hope we don't have a situation like in D2 where sets end up being worthless. I like the idea of collecting sets. It gives you a sense of fulfillment when you collect the whole thing. And in d2 we reached a point where 1 maybe 2 sets were viable and the rest were trash. I just hope they can somehow fix that in d3
