    I used a regular hota build, and equiped the blackthorn set (it's allowed :p), cindercoat and magefist. Got it with 5ish minute left on first try,

    You should go Barb I think. The class has more diversity in build this patch than any other. There is WW build (6wastes BK, 6waste 4ik) Rend build, Ik/Raekor/Hota, and IK/seismis slam, and they all seems to be decent. And who knows what will come up during the season.


    Uliana Monk is also really fun and has that Ooomph you search with huge damage spike on big pack.

    It seems dps barb wont be able to go in the pack, but maybe seismic slam build from mid range ? Time will tell.

    Currently top support barb runs 3pc waste 3pc blackthorne with cubed rorg. Their goal is to be very tanky and to make a huge (I mean HUUUUUGE) pack of mobs with harpoon, while providing buffs to the group.


    3pc waste/blackthorne

    Cube : Vigilance, Cassius, Rorg

    WW:Blood funnel, ancient spear harpoon, threatening shout: falter, ignore pain mob rule, rend mutilate, warcry veterans warning

    Strongarm, obsidian, occulus, BK weapons, hellfire amulet, string of ears.

    Full defensive gems : diamond in armor, life per hit on weapons

    leg gems: Esoteric, wildbeast, toxin

    passive : Nerves of steel, Inspiring presence, tough as nail, relentless, superstition

    posted a message on PTR 2.1 Change to 2H and Heavenly Strength
    Hi fellow crusaders,

    I understand the change will not really have an impact on us, they boost 2H weapons by 23-26% and reduce de damage we do with heavenly strength by 20%. But that got me wondering, and there may be some theorycrafter out here that could come with something up:
    What if we drop the shield, and trade Heavenly Strength for an other passive ? Could we see any 2H - shieldless build ? Or do we lose too much without a shield?

    I don't think Blizzard will let that happen, but with the current proposed change I could see someone coming up with something clever.

    What are your thoughts ? Any build idea ?
