I meant, what do the Titans represent in the Diablo universe? Who, in Greek Mythology, were the "parents", and who do they represent in the Diablo universe? Sorry for the confusion.

I'm sure you can figure out the answer to your query. But I will just say, absolutely not! We are talking about Diablo III's codename and plot aspects, afterall.

    Titans=lesser+prime evils

there is no way you can break 200 fcr with these items, especially with spirit sword.

    thats not a 200 build.
Not too many 200fcr around anyways. 1 hit ko.

you see it alot in HC, and its a good way for ppl who arent rich or are new to the game to lvl. i am aware that you and i apparently are rich, and we grush accompanied with a uber lvl or chaos runs. but others simply dont have that option.

no no, i dont mean about rich or not rich. I just mean, not many people play d2, and if u do, tristing is very slow...
even getting rushed for forge+chaosing is fast and almost free.

Apparently PC Gamer got a scoop of SC2 before it was announced.
Now we can only assume they will also see Diablo 3 before it's announced.
Now anyone remember the August PC Gamer magazine? The one with what happened to Diablo 3? Well, apparently they might know.

Also I found this on the SC2 forums.

    PC Gamer Podcast 83
    It's a good listen:
    http://www.pcgamerpodcast.com/podpre...3_20070518.mp3

    Right click > Save

PC Gamer got to see SC2 before it was announced and got to see a ton of stuff that the public is yet to see. It's all going to be in the next issue with exclusive footage on the disc.

That's not the point of this thread but anyways.

The guys who got to visit said that the game is a step up graphically from Supreme Commander and C&C3: Tiberium Wars. He said it was absolutely gorgeous.

He also said that over the course of the 4 years, they had to deal with other games coming out in the genre that had similar ideas and that it really sucks. For instance the super unit in Supreme Commander that is a giant spaceship with a beam that comes down is similar to the Protoss Mothership but not nearly as cool.

He also said the game was so far along in development that he believed what he was seeing could already be on the shelf. He said there is really a lot there and Blizzard constantly plays multiplayer matches between the 3 races for fun and balancing of course.

    For Diablo III fans:

At the beginning he was asked what his thought were on first announcement. He said for a split second he was sad because it wasn't Diablo 3 which is what he wanted. As he was about to talk about it, he stopped right before getting into it and said "actually.. I'm not getting into it now." Look for the August issue for tons of sweet content.

Here is a short transcript from that portion:

    Quote:
"I so desperately wanted Diablo 3 but that was.."

"You've got to believe that's in the works you know to some extent as well though."

"Uh, yeah yeah you gotta believe it in fact in fact I'm gonna yeah.. well.. actually I'm not gonna go into anything."

    Quote from "RoH_" »
Of all the character classes, the Sorceress is the most dependent on her skills; therefore, she is also the most dependent on recharging her spiritual energy. Unless she can supplement her natural and continuous replenishment with items to restore Mana, she must develop the Warmth skill. The Warmth skill adds to her ability to recharge Mana. In the rest of the skill tree she has more of a choice. Cold spells are certainly useful, both in the damage they unleash and in slowing enemies. Additionally, cold spells can at times freeze her targets, shattering them upon their death, making resurrection impossible. The Sorceress should develop Static Field. This is an extremely effective spell that will benefit both her and other adventurers whom she might allow to join her.

Supplementing the Sorceress' attributes is a more difficult series of decisions. Obviously Energy is always a consideration. Strength, while seemingly not important, is needed for the ability to don better armor. The Sorceress is cursed with a low vitality, and if hit, she is easily felled. For this reason, the Sorceress is one of the more difficult classes to play. She needs to add to her strength for better armor, to her vitality for more life, and to her energy so that she can keep casting her spells. Generally, it is wise to pick a level of armor to aspire, and then shift all focus away from strength. Many consider the breastplate to be sufficient armor. Attaining the level of strength to use this armor is an important goal.
The Sorceress should always be on the lookout for items that increase Mana regeneration. She should also not entirely abandon the martial arts and have quality armaments, if only as a backup. Many of Diablo's minions possess a great deal of magical defense, and spells are not always effective. It is wise to choose skills from throughout the skill tree. Of all the classes though, she must avoid being struck in melee combat, therefore she requires the most tactical maneuvering and the most care.
    Hirelings
Hirelings are very useful to the Sorceress. Act II and Act V Hirelings work very well with the Sorceress. They can lead the attack while the Sorceress hangs back and casts spells from the rear. Act II Hirelings (Defensive) are great for getting the Sorceress through Normal difficulty until she starts to become more powerful at level 30. The best choices are the Act II Hirelings with the Defiance Aura or an Act V Hireling that does significant amount of damage. Both can be effective. Equip them with better, higher damage weapons to increase their usefulness. Find them resistance gear and high defense Armor and Helms to help them last longer. "Magic Maiden"
Succubus and Baal cast a special curse shown in the screenshot below (along with Thunderstorm and Energy Shield). This curse causes you to do damage to yourself when you cast spells. For skills that require more Mana, you will take more damage. This even includes such spells like Teleport but does not include Thunderstorm or Energy Shield. Whenever this curse is cast on you, stop casting spells until it has worn off, click on a Shrine to counteract it, or go back to town and have it removed. Magic Maiden only affects you if you have more Mana than Life. If you have at least as much max Mana as max Life, you can be cursed.

Wuts the point of all this?
    telling me es is bad?
ES is by far the best way to go for sorcs.

Btw this is PVP btw, i doubt anyone plays this game other than for pvp.

Blizzard would not go into such depth for a simple codename for a project.

Once Blizzard had called a meating to announce to their designers that they will be creating Diablo 3, they would then at that point have a round robbin for a project name.

For an example; a guy in the meeting named Alan says, "Why don't we name the project, Hydra. Its a very known spell from the game and has some ties with the underworld theme of Diablo." Then Frank, (Alans boss), says, "Hydra. I like that. Anyone else got any arguments or other suggestions?" Silence enters the room. Frank says, "Good then its settled, Hydra it is."

but u do realize that blizzard literally copied diablo from greek mythology. while doing this research it seems diablo storyline=storyline of hydra and w/e.
