I'm almost certain that they wouldnt announce a MMO based on Diablo universe before announcing the actual succesor to Diablo 2, not a spinoff kinda game (wich WoW kinda is to Warcraft)
(and thats not even saying Blizz needs to keep hold of paying WoW accounts wich wouldnt be jeopardized by a normal Diablo game so Diablo mmo would draw to much costumers away from WoW)

According to the article, PC Gamer spoke with Blizzard and learned about StarCraft II before anyone else. Might be a joke, but if it isn't, their article on "What happened to Diablo III?" might be a good one to read.
Maybe the article is blurred because Diablo III may be announced before the magazine is published, or at BlizzCon in August - the month the magazine is scheduled to cover.

That would be unfair. I mean people that started in the first release week are already really powerful than people that are going to join the Diablo World in a few months / years.
In the other hand, it would be also unfair to give new players faster ways to level up and more powerful itens. Just keep it balance.
