There was a time when me and a friend of mine were doing hell tristram.....and we had killed meph, and diablo.....and were minutes from killing baal.....when the server dropped us...and erased our game....love when that happens.
Would knowing you live in a simulated reality, eventually make you more powerful? Like in the Matrix? What about deja vu? Is it our subconcious mind finding loop holes in this simulated reality? If you even thought for a moment that you were actually in a simulated reality....what would you do? would you try to find some logical way out? On that same thought...Grim mentions Star Trek, and the holodecks...have you ever noticed that no one questions the fact that someone just says the word "arch" ....and one appears....no one notices this??? im quite sure i see someone call forth an arch...and subsequently disappear into the "fabric of the universe" im going to start asking WTF? so whether we find out in this lifetime or not.....is just a question one may ask.
I never had a problem with PK'ers...but i like the danger sensibility...hey if you've got the talent to be a PK'er...than more power to ya....i was never that talented.
I had tried HC for awhile...when the game was dwindling in interest for me.....the best i had was a lvl 76 summonmancer. oddly i was on act 2 of hell....but got killled doing a Baal run in NM *shrugs* damn burning souls
I 'd like to see new 3D graphics....but after playing Diablo for years now....i guess it would just take time getting used to it. If only they had an option in-game for new 3D or classic.
I can tell you i have horror story to tell with each of the big 3(IMO) the O Knights, them damn Dolls, and those annoying Souls. They have all been responsible for killing my high lvl character at one time or another. But on an "other" note....those Champion Moon Lords...put in their fair share of killing.
I choose "keep 'em coming" although i dont have all day to play....the WP's were nice for skipping areas you've already completed. Plus it wasnt too much of a hassle starting at a WP and continuing on from there....even if you had done that area...but not found the next WP.
nah...i think it comes down to their environment or living conditions...how they were brought up. and of course some common sense....do we need to put disclaimers on everything?
I did play LOD. I believe there was a petition....many years ago....that i think i signed....but apparently it fell on deaf ears. occasionally i'll go look for any new news on perhaps a 2nd LOD. it doesnt seem like its going to be made, but one never knows.
Have they fixed the Amazon skill Fend yet? Out of all the things I could focus on to have fixed........but I havent played in like 2-3 years. Just as long as there is new content...like in Act 4...etc....its the only thing that would bring me back to play.
I mostly play female characters...hey, if im going to be staring at the ass end of a character for hours....it should at least be aesthetically pleasing.
I wonder if they will have monsters represent the level you are in, for example a Fallen in normal carrying a club and a wooden hat....and in hell have the Fallen carrying a flaming sword and decked out in some fancy armor.
