- WD pets don't proc Oculus ring, I hope it's already been reported
- Follower is just standing and doing nothing most of the time (Enchantress)
- Zombie Dogs vs Pirhando: without Pirhando and with the modified CC, mobs just running around, as my pets too, hitting single mobs, no AD efficiency
- >75% of Rift Guardian simply impossible to kill with pet build: teleporting, knocking pets constantly, spawns deflect my pets
- Not to mention most of the maps just leave/start game
My 2.4.1 HT WD was able to do 92, but not higher, paragon cap I think, need more AR and some VIT on paragon. With RoE my power is nearly the same, with some fishing I've closed 93 (15:35).
Conclusion: for higher solo gr RoE makes no difference in solo mode, I need gem upgrade (with the nerfs it will be very hard to do) and paragon farming, sounds very boring.
I don't know how you can say RoE makes no difference, the damage is WAAAAAAY higher with this change, not to mention you get much quicker single target kills by spamming Haunt on Rift Guardians and stacking Stricken up very high.
I'm curious about the Jade solo build; The Furnace over Wormwood? I can see both weapons working; I'm guessing The Furnace just allows for potentially better clearing the higher you go, though the high mana cost on LS can be annoying.
I talk about it a bit in the written guide on that spec, I think The Furnace version is the highest DPS potential but it make turn out that Wormwood just makes the gameplay so much smoother, that it turns out to be better.
Check your T10 LoN Walker build, I did comment about playability with 2.4.2 there. Maybe you want to have a look

I think the LoN Walker build is still going to be great for 25-60 GRIFTS for low level gem leveing. For Torment 13, without really crazy good gear, it'll be tough to make it efficient enough.
***Update*** It seems that they've put a hotfix in that Ring of Emptiness now DOES NOT apply to the damage of your pets. I'll be updating the guides accordingly.

Just like the previous 2 seasons, here is the Witch Doctor "Meta" build guide. I think it's nice to have all the top builds in one place for a reference, then you can just bookmark the page.
Within the next couple of days I'll be working on fleshing out the written guides as well as uploading videos.
1) Yes, a collection like this that summarizes the most relevant builds is useful, so thanks for the effort.
2) Instead of re-building all these with no explanatory content, I'd rather have links to the best guides to said builds.
I get that everyone likes to spread links with his name on them, but I don't really care who invented a build. I want the guide that explains mechanics, play style, interactions and item choices. And all of that preferrably in written form.

why stricken over powerful. Your pet attacks don't count as sticken hits. It seems like you could get to a rift guardian a minute or two quicker with a powerful gem and it gives you a defensive buff.
I'm assuming this is in reference to the Helltooth build. You still stack stricken with Wall of Death and Piranha's, you just don't stack it very quickly. For lower level content 80 and below, Powerful will probably out perform Stricken. The higher you go, the longer the Rift Guardian fight takes, the more value you get out of Stricken.

I did the same thing last season and a lot of people said it helped. so I did it again, are you just ignoring what I'm saying? Do you think you "made" Zuni gargs because you posted the build before somebody else? I'm not claiming any build, just simply compiling all the top builds in one place.
Hey man! Always like your builds, you are the only WD pro there that i really respect, because your builds are well-thought and innovative.
But there's too many already, and many of them are just copies of copies. No need for more, since bigdaddyden already spammed the whole section with his stolen and copied builds.
It's pretty sad that everyone feels like he's obliged to make his "own" copy of a well-known build. WE've got 20 same zdps builds, 20 same helltooth garg builds, and so on.
Be more innovative, don't just copy and paste the obvious.
Everything here I tested extensively on the PTR. This is just a reference point for players to have all the "best" builds in one place. I'm not entirely sure if you're saying I just copy pasted builds or not, but anybody with half a brain and some game knowledge are going to figure out what the best set ups are because Blizzard pretty much spoon feeds us builds. This game has very little room for innovation anymore.

I'll make sure we highlight more "starter" builds for getting to T10, with slightly lower requirements.

'starter' t10 builds don't make any sense, it's like an oxymoron, you are either wrecking t10 or you should just lower the difficulty, same build just lower difficulty, it's not complicated guys...

A 90 was completed with Jade on the PTR, the highest I ever did pesonally was 86.

A couple variations of Carnevil and LoN Gargs/firebats should be able to push into the 90s as well, I'll update once I've tested this.
